Great analysis, very insightful. I agree that last year's Serbian performance was very good. Luke Black was out of the box, my personal no. 2, after the amazing Aijā. This year I think Teya Dora might be a good choice. This song is intimate, touching, makes me feel things. And there aren't any similar songs chosen by other countries by now (except France I think but I'm not a fan) so Teya Dora has a pretty good chance to stand out with delicacy, intimacy and subtleness. Biggest haul that used to host Beovizija before Sava centar was shout down is still in reconstruction :) Only Congress center part is open. Reconstruction will finish in June this year so next Nation Final will again be in front of big audience 😊 Belgrade arena is simply to big for nation finals with 25k people. Although mwe already had music awards MAC in arena multiple times and it was full, RTS should consider that as well since interest for Eurovision is always high in Serbia

Let's pause for a moment and remind ourselves that Konstrakta in 2022 wasn't even a contender to win PZE up until her live performance. Not even one esc youtuber had put her on some top list. I even checked out BalkanGuy's channel and he also had Zorja Angelina and SaraJo as favorites for the win. Soooo... I try to resist all the hype that esc community is tryng to force on us. I can only see zorja win eurovision and konstrakta in the top 5, in my opinion teya dora will flop… and breskvica could end up in top 15 with a strong diaspora voting I finished watching the whole video now and wow I really had goosebumps when you were talking about ramonda... Let’s not forget. This Eurovisionworld poll and all these vids on youtube are majority from non serbs. At the end of the day only Serbians will vote in PZE, not the Eurofans outside the borders. Breskvica is massive in Serbia, you can see that in her views too. Jury can f up her result tho. I absolutely love her choice for this style of a song since it is representative of Serbia so no I’m not disappointed that she’s not sending a song like „Do gole Koze“ or „Drift“. Teya Dora’s song is good but for me personally a „Dzanum“ light. And her vocals are not it, I’ve seen her live.

I was watching a podcast where they explained that the reason why they aren't able to hold PZE somewhere else is because it would be too expensive to rent out a place like that for like a month where contestants would rehearse.

Breskvica is massive mostly among teenagers, who are not into the Eurovision that much, so I don’t think she will win a televote. I think Konstrakta and Teya will be on top. Zorjas voice is amazing, but the song is boring. My personal favs are Konstrakta, Filip and Teya, but also I love Marko, Iva Lorens, Kat Dosa and Filari as well. The thing I hate about Zejna is her trip that she’s not respected as a Roma, and that she never gets points because of that, and thats the nonsence, because our only ESC winner - Marija Serifovic is Roma too. It’s bad picture of Serbia as a racist country, that she tries to place, it’s not ok. And thats why she sings about herself and a color of her skin, which is very cringey, if you ask me. Everyone has their own personal taste but if we want to talk about strategy, I would go with Teya Dora *if* she can deliver on a strong but vunerable vocal, which I am hearing mixed reviews on so won't know until we hear it live. OR go with Konstrakta because she will most likely get high placement with her high concept. The other artist I think that can deliver a good result is Zorja because that song is really something and I can't wait to see her sing it live. It might not be a winning song but I think it can also yield a high placement just due to the sheer vocal acrobatics. But I am afraid Breskvica is going have a huge advantage. She is super popular that her song views is blowing everyone out the water now. It isn't even close...

PZE won't be held in some arena any time soon, because RTS would have to occupy that space for over a month because of rehearsals, and they dont want to spend that much money. Also money from the tickets would not be enough to cover the costs. And no arena is free for a whole month. For Eurovision yes, but not for PZE every year. That's what PZE organiser has said.

Unfortunately Olivera already explained about Sava Centar. It was sold and it would cost too much RTS to rent Sava Centar for days (for rehearsals) and quality of sound and performances would not be as good as in RTS studio (whole equipment would need to be transferred and adapted in short amount of time). Also Kosutnjak creates special, intimate atmosphere for contestants where they feel safe and they can really showcase their talent. Arena has basketball games all the time so Arena would also be impossible.

I always have the opinion that if they want to do it, they would find a way. If national finals like Melodifestivalen and UMK can do it in the biggest arenas in their countries, why couldn't RTS make it possible in at least Sava Centar. Plus at Eurovision they will perform in front of a big audience so it's better they prepare in front of an audience at the national final too

@@TheBalkanGuy Yes, we will see. Plava Dvorana will be done in June, it is getting renovated. Contestants love the food and kitchen at Kosutnjak RTS studio, they are already talking about it all the time and not getting out of the studio 😂😂😅😅 so we will see what people at RTS decide. It is very possible if PZE gets even more popular this year.
