Pessimism vs. Optimism in Finance

I think this perspective is absolutely true, in the long run financial optimism wins the day. In the long run. So invest for a lifetime.

Pessimists sound smarter because they can say “just you wait” and go AHA!!! when there is an inevitable downturn in the market. Grinding and slow growth optimism is also boring. Doom and gloom pessimism are also more emotionally charged and brings a bigger audience.
