Sir, I'm using your remedy of cinnamon powder and it works like ✨ magic. I don't purchase the power from the grocery shop I use the skicks and grind it to the finest in the mixer ,touch wood,the blade remains sharp and never dulls.

thank you so much for watching …soap water will damage the farina …because after it’s put in soap you will have to wash it ..if not it can leave soap residue on the leaves …it can stain or leave marks …I dont think It will be a good idea to do so …I have never done that

aww thank you so so much 😊❤️…yes I have seen that video which your referring to …that is some kinda of fungicide..it was milky water right in a large tub ….it may work for them I think that was a nursery or a farm …I have never use any fungicide like the chemical one there are plenty in the market but I never felt the need to use ….and I hope I never have to 😂😂😂…..international shipping is a pain by you can try esty there are many Koreans selling them ….yes there is a need of a plant certificate when plants are shipped overseas

yes …it has definitely worked for me ….it stopped the fungus from spreading it was such a life saver

Any reason you don't just swish it in the water, and ensure good airflow, keeping it out of the sun until it dries?

the issue with spraying water and cleaning is there is a small risk of rot ..when mealy bugs settle they can make the leaves weaker by spraying water there is an issue of leaf breakage ...if the water comes in contact with broken leaf it will cause rot

*** Can you recommend something to spray to kill mealybugs without causing leaf burn? I have about more than 500 succulents and its really difficult to do this cinnamon method in all of them. Last time i sprayed with imidacloprid that caused severe leaf burn on succulents.

I can completely understand..I have close to 2000 succulents but if we want the best we will have put in efforts …that is exactly what will happen when we spray anything on the succulent there is no guarantee it will e safe and won’t damage the leaves ….be it imidacloprid or rubbing alcohol same issue will happen..there is high chance of succulent leaves getting burnt …for mealy bugs and pest there is not permanent solution…they will come back irrespective of what you do that’s how nature is ….so it’s all about being vigilant …doing a visual check …reducing organic Matter in soil …good air circulation etc

what you you can do is mix cinnamon powder in water and while you conduct watering do it… but don’t mix cinnamon powder in water and pour it on the succulent put it in soil only

Can you experiment a tricky method. Spray any chemical like imidacloprid in few sample succulents and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, spray clean water throughly. By doing this, the chemical will get washed up and may not cause leaf burn and the pest should also get killed.

i know what you saying but trust me even after doing all the succulent will get damaged one thing ..the mealy bugs will come back irrespective ..remember that video where the succulent was sprayed with fungicide i will make that video tomorrow again ...what ever was present on the succulent is come back again despite the spray

Can you not spray the plant with soap water then blow it off

it can be bit risky because the soap can leave a film on it and even after blowing off there will still be some let and that can attract dust and creating a layer on the leaf ...otherwise you will have to take the succulent out completely wash it away with water ...and its not that its done there isn't a 100 percent guarantee that they wont come back again
