GJ chips.... I have been there James.. A lot of practice. And I am better. Mark please give James a lesson and build his confidence back he is too good to be putting off green & out rough. Fun days golf looked a tough course... Like look of Mini Driver excellent idea length means very little unless you are straight. Q. Mark do you have stiff shaft and what weight is it? Love you guys. Mark Crossfield Was interested in your chipping strategy on the last hole (club, and was it a bump and run or were you trying to check it) versus your choice to hit the 60 when you thought the 52 might have been a better choice on the previous hole.

Mark, your first strike with the 5iron. With your distances do you factor you are going to get a little extra when hitting off a tee? Maybe add 5 to 10 for hitting on a tee? Some wily old Brit told me once and it seems to have merit. What's your opinion?

that made no sense what so ever. the ball flies further through colder air, because colder air is thinner so the ball penetrates it better

No the ball doesnt fly farther in cold air at all! When you have colder conditions the cover of the golf ball becomes more solid and it flies further in a warmer climate because the ball is softer! +André Melsom

Why wouldn't you just go to your local retail shop and try them both yourself? Find something that works for you and fits in your bag. I know it's nice to get Marks opinion on clubs but when it comes down to it you have to go with what works best for your swing. I'm not trying to be rude I just think people should get their moneys worth when they buy expensive clubs. And if you go to someone that has a good launch monitor you'll be able to see how your swinging the club and most likely the gentleman will give you some feedback on how to improve your impact conditions. I know it sucks paying retail but if you get some help in the process then it's well worth it!
