The one thing that gives me massive pause is that this game is free to play. It is extremely rare to find a free to play game that is at all decent in its monetization methods. I can think of only one that was, warframe. I would far rather pay up front and skip the greedy crap than deal with the free to play garbage that inevitably comes.

Really Really solid extract mode, especially the extreme risk vs reward on space city, they do really need to add another solo extract especially considering the keycard costs (only play solo)

the extraction mode is wicked fun but also very casual. it fills a great spot for a casual audience and its fun to jump in and out and have a good time that's less stressful than tarkov and even ABI.

I just hope BSG realizes that a lot of players would LOVE the QOL that Delta Force and ABI brought to the table.....someone can help me list all the features but here is the ones i can remember off hand - Rolling up Bags/Rigs(unarmored) to save space... - Being able to Sell an Item directly from a "Sell" button on items from your stash... - Also the ability to BATCH SELL items FOR THEIR ACTUAL VENDOR PRICE...(ABI made Batch Selling worthless tho sadly however, Delta Force made Batch Sell actually SELL FOR THE ORIGINAL PRICE it would have to the Traders, which is 11/10 love that lets me get into and out of raids faster) - ALL ITEMS HAVE A AUCTION PRICE ESTIMATE/HIGHEST SELL VALUE WHEN EXAMINING THEM OR HOVERING OVER THEM (dawg need i say more....) - A screen when loading into a match that shows EVERY PIECE OF GEAR THAT EXISTS IN THE GAME AND THEIR AUCTION VALUE with the ability to Instantly Buy and Equip Any Gear/Weapon/MedItem....allowing for QUICK AF REGEARING (also when buying said gear/items/meds the game will have a AI system that instantly searches for the lowest available purchase wether be from Traders/Vendors OR other players! Amazing!) - Each map also has a "Casual" mode and a HARDER VERSION with better geared AI/NPCs/Scavs and BETTER LOOT RARITY/SPAWNS... (bro this would fix Casuals getting stomped by Hardcore Vets and allow for players to get more loot by risking more....its like is BSG blind? Dark and Darker even had a "Harder" version of its maps, why tf cant BSG figure a way to do that?) - Detailed Death screen stating Where i shot the person i died to and how i died EXACTLY...Also ABI introduced a Spectating feature AND KILLCAM (Killcam helps find cheaters, etc BUT IT ONLY ACTIVATES IF YOU SPECTATE YOUR TEAM/WAIT FOR 1 FULL MINUTE allowing whoever killed you to move, which is good!) This one would be amazing. - VERY detailed Shooting Range with the ability to test various guns/ammo types/AND test the armors and see how fast the TTK is on weapons and ammo because you can gear up the shooting range dummies to have the gear your player can have!! (BSG why dont we have this yet for our Shooting range???) - VERY VERY detailed and indepth "Weapon Details" screen when you right click and check the "Details" of a weapon on Delta Force....im talking instantly able to see how your recoil pattern will be, how many bullets will be shooting out and where your bullets go when hipfiring.... generally its just innovation at its finest dude..... And funny thing is, the games are BOTH F2P....regardless about P2W nonsense they have or may have (Delta Force could and prob will have some elements of P2W regardless of whatever the director said a few days ago) the QOL that they bring to the table and the shear ideas they have done for Delta Force and to some extent ABI has done is just top notch. (ABI had roll up bags/rigs etc and a few of the other things i mentioned but Delta Force perfected all of the above once it released) Can we complain to Nakitta about stuff like this so we can make Tarkov a legit better game for everyone involved and playing? Sure some of its "easy mode" but like dude QoL is QoL, and makes the game better to play in general, so i dont see why we cant implement atleast SOME of the ideas DF and ABI have brought to the table for extraction shooters.... (This was a lot to type, okay time to go into a raid, gl all and yea fingers crossed Tarkov gets better amirite?)

Also he mentions it at 6:23 but the CALIBRATION system dude i think is fkin dope, you get to change up your gun stats a little bit after decking out a gun, like bro WHY IS THIS NOT IN TARKOV lmaoooooooooooooooo please bro can we complain to BSG to get some of this stuff brought to the game, at the very least the Calibration system would be a SICK AF addition to the game and hella shake up gun builds/metas.... i forgot about that off hand until he mentioned it damn that would be dope in Tarkov or also ABI cause ABI for some reason didnt bring that over from Delta Force... I dislike the gating of the map to casual/normal/hardcore. It should be open to rats/noobs/chads/everyone. It allows for 0 to Hero runs, and chads to Duke it out. Noobs will just learn and adapt, get gud. Not that I'm a Chad, but I tried ABI and I hate them putting a gear score just to enter a game mode/map.

That's the biggest thing that hooked me on the game..any of the modes are easy to just pick up. You don't feel overwhelmed in the extraction mode and the MP is similar to BF but different enough to still be fun

I really like how there is significantly less of a learning curve for DFs extraction mode than there is for Tarkov. ohhh and the elephant in the room. I have seen zero cheaters in DF where as in Tarkov 1/4 of every lobby is hackers.

since they released pve, I haven't run into a single cheater... no skin off my back. When I have solid map knowledge and efficiency, Ill go play pvp again... stopped playing pvp because of the cheaters making it extremely difficult to maintain a cash flow early wipe and then not being knowledgeable enough about the maps made the other 75% of games hard to be efficient and make money on. PVE has renewed my interest in a game that I thought I was never going to break through the "learning barrier"

In a lot of ways this feels like 2 steps forward 3 steps back CoD DMZ. Obviously there's the basic CoD like feel to the guns and look to the game. But then there's the halfway tarkov inventory system that's pretty much unnecessary. What is the point of vests being separate from backpacks if ammo is loaded from boxes rather than mags? Every vest in the game is large enough to put ammo and meds in that you'll need. The Operators are a cool mechanic and a definite plus. But then the armor system does a pseudo tark/pubg thing again with armor that degrades. Which works for games like tark where there's enough reward in fights even if you lose some armor. But in this game there are so many fights that you pretty much always go into the second or third worse than the opponent. The CoD plate system works way better for arcadey fast games like this. Same thing for the ammo system. It's a half implementation of Tark's system, but without understanding where the balance in that system comes from. The way it is now is just "the rich get richer". More expensive ammo is just pay to win. Also pest you're a shill for calling this an "honest review" while it's an ad. Bloody lame.

Currently downloading the beta but this game looks pretty damn good. I've always wanted a less hardcore option for extraction shooters that still keeps the awesome gameplay loop that makes Tarkov so addicting, and while some games Like DMZ and The Cycle tried this they just fell flat. This game looks like its gonna be great.

It's good, but has a few fundamental flaws. The health system needs a little bit of work, the abilities need some slight refinements (especially Stinger basically making meds irrelevant), and my biggest gripe is it's impossible to play solo. You down one, he gets revived. You manage to full kill two, the last guy pushes you out and revives a FULL KILL. Why the hell are there two opportunities to revive a dead teammate????

I'm kinda done with Tarkov for now. I made it lvl 15, but once you sink 3000 hrs in a game it's hard to keep playing. I'm really hoping they add a better way to team up with random people. I wanna play Delta Force but I keep missing the dang key giveaways.

Covert is a teir above confidential. You need a gear score of ~350,000 which is considerably higher than confidential. The loot is substantially better though

The battlefield game mode is cool but the extraction mode is kind of a joke. The operators are lame, the reviving of dead teammates is what made me personally write the game off, I do like the gunsmith, the graphics are good, gameplay feels solid, has some great qol stuff I’d love to see come to tarkov but ultimately this one is so arcade like I have lost all interest, but then again I don’t think I’m the target audience for the game and I can respect what they have done just not for me!

my biggest issue with the extraction mode is how useless armor feels. i compared bringing in lvl5 armor and no armor and the ttk was nearly the same it felt like. also in the shooting range its usually pretty close and most cheap ammos are killing most armors in under a second. ttk but specifically armor durability doesnt feel as tuned as tarkov. ive def heard similar complaints in the past but maybe theyve changed it already
