for those who havn't noticed or dont know, this map is a great depiction of what Russian malls look like, the 3 big markets IDEA = IKEA which in real life is usually on the opposite side of OLI = OLDI (sells house keeping stuff), and in between there is usually a food court where u will find LowaH = Ashan (even same symbol, the W is is pronounced as SH in russian, so it is pretty close but u can tell they were trying to avoid getting sued) (sells groceries) No i am not russian but i live in russia, i love this map because i can really relate to this in real life

Oli - is more like OBI (DIY retailer in Europe). Same with Auchan (French food retailer) which in Russian pronounce like - Ashan. So the Tarkov variant of this is - Goshan and this is coming from the human name - Gosha, but in its "buddy" variant with a more fun\short\friendly degree. So the association is - that the GoshaN is a good food market because it sounds similar to your best scav friend name - Gosha. But you are absolutely correct - that overall this mall is a popular or typical variant of malls in our country (and one of the most represented of them - MEGA aka ULTRA in Tarkov (mall)). BSG used this name - Ultra name might be used because of some specific logo design in original Mega logo.

No kidding. It's so easy to hide in this map. Massive corridors with rubble everywhere, half lit, lots of dark areas. I've shot mannequins that spooked me at least twice. It's just really intense.

I didn’t know about 99% of those jewelry spawns, and a lot of the stores that have tech spawns I actually wrote off as not having any loot at all. Also, some of those weapon crate locations made my jaw drop. What’s even more amazing about interchange is that this half-hour long video made by the #1 Tarkov player actually doesn’t cover all the weapon crates and PCs in the map

True alot of the spawns just dont seem worth it out of 100 runs you'll be see SOME of the mid/high tier loot 30% of the time he shouldnt have rushed through

Tip from noob to other noobs - it's entirely possible to stealth this map and get out with great loot. Most geared players and squads will be fighting for gun stores and main lobby. If you are new you probably have no keys anyway, so just avoid going there. There are tons of computers and gun crates that are often go unchecked. Those provide decent loot for new players with relatively little risk of being killed. Also helpful if you scav run this map.

I have no idea how to interpret the community map for interchange. Its not as simple as customs. Interchange obviously has multiple tiers but I still can't read the map properly. Basement (beginning the video) I have NO 'IDEA' where you are relative to the map.

For me, this map has been great to play as a scav, just go into the mall, look for the dead PMCs and loot them, then go for extract, looting what you see on you way out. The survival rate is ok as a scave. But as a PMC, you are garanteed to have a big gun fight in every floor.

Pestily, did you forget to mention that there are two grenade boxes at the back of Goshan? One is next to the sandbags in the back of the warehouse, and then down the "cheeky stairs" in the tent is another one. (Both are at the spot you were in at 14:09 )

Also, on the highway checkpoint itself (down from northwest spawn, nearby sniper tower), there are up to 4 scavs that spawn there and spawn often. They recently changed this, it used to be 2 and sometimes spawning, but lately I've done 1 map run, killed 4 there, go away for a while to another location and come back and there are 4 more spawned. It's a fun place to get in a firefight with PMC's as well.

I know you mentioned on a recent stream you are going to be redoing a bunch of guides. If you do Interchange again please bring a gun with a flashlight. It's sometimes hard to see in the darker parts due to the YT compression. Esp for a scrub like me who barely knows the map. Oh and thanks btw, survived my 2nd ever interchange raid thx to this vid. :D

I use a app for this game thats on the GPS not sure about IOS but its free and its the phone app version of the wiki. Its super good. Would recommend all new players download it. It has several versions of each map with loot scav spawns key spawns weapon spawns. Everything you need.

I've done few night raids there. They are usually almost completely empty and safe to pillage to your heart's content. Or...full of squads with NVG and thermal scopes, ready to turn you into Swiss cheese 10 meters away from the spawn :)

You bypassed a ton of the fuel conditioner spawns. So this map has one of the highest fuel con spawns, just look next to all the generators (generic, both front and back of Goshan, techlight). Considering they get sold for decent prices (90-120k) they're worth the pickup

Hey Pestily. Thank you for the Updated Guides It really helps a lot. I wanted to ask you a question. Two questions. Everytime a friend and me join interchange or any other map, he is 5 minutes more early there then me. How could i improve my spawn time? And if we join interchange it happens often that the server is totally empty. I mean literally empty. There is nothing much to loot, no players as far as i can tell and Killa is there EVERYTIME. Is that supposed to be that way? Killa is way too strong for now whithout decent protection and calibre as we are still learning the maps, me level 22 now, my friend level 25ish and often just get away with our lives I'll work out another loot route without the Mantis store and surroundings this evening. I Almost got him last time but his bullets where a little bit faster. Pretty sure he died too later on to dehydration though. That dude is a monster really. Greetings from Germany UPDATE: The issue with the Spawn Time diferrence was fixed by buying more RAM and connecting a Wire instead of W-LAN. To the Killa: i still encounter him every single time and it has been weeks since i last saw a not ASAP looted interchange Raid. Its like im always late to the party and all that is left is a bunch of angry scav NPC's and a way waaay more angry Killa. Not a single PMC Player sometimes Scav Players. I don't get it. I'snt anybody out there having the same issue on this map?? Guys? Girls? Anybody? Customs is starting the same way but not So often btw. wtf

Guys, quick question regarding the labs. After the last patch, did you notice difficulty change? last month I was simply insta killed by raiders and scavs with the aimbot, right now I am able to survive longer and more often I am hit to the arms, legs, not head. do you have a similar opinion? or it's my wishful thinking?

because the raiders gears now suck.. , before the patch 80% of them had a lot of modified AK's with BS & and BP rounds and sometime shotguns with RIP shells but now all you can see is AKS with ps rounds and standard shotguns with buckshots..

Michal Klucz Raiders gear got nerfed a bit. Now they usually have more shotguns and much less aks and m4s. They still can spawn great ammo, but again not that often as it used to be. Also they react much better in tight corners and doors. I believe their routes also were improved or changed. Overall a nice change. They are still deadly, but you cannot use them as loot cows as it was previously.

@@denismaksimov3775 I don't need to milk them to get the loot. it was just extremely frustrating to get one shotted in full armor by a single bullet to the face from the guy on the other side of map while you are crouching in a dark room. it was the only reason why I prefered to go with TT only because if I could face shot someone - I got loot, but I was used to get killed deus ex machina.

Is it stupid to dip into the building to get whatever you need then go back outside and go around the mall instead of through it?... Like if you need gas analyzers or something... You dip into idea go back outside then go around the mall from the outside instead of doing what most people do by getting to the other side of the map from inside the mall... I'm level 23 and interchange is the last map that I haven't really found a route for that I like yet other than labs... I don't have any friends that play tarkov so I'm usually alone (randoms never wanna team up) so I've avoided interchange after noticing pmcs are usually really geared and teamed up... Which led to me really struggling to get out alive with my pacas and shit lol...

thats usually what i do. i run in, grab what i need and then leave through the closest exit and just skirt around the very outside of the map. it takes way longer to get to extract but at least i usually make it lol. walking through the actual mall seems like suicide when you're solo, especially with killa stalking the halls

If I manage to slip by the teams of geared players I usually get hit by killa and either get pinched in the fight or die while I'm looting him or not long after.. But now that I finally started focusing on leveling up ragman I now have no choice but to figure out interchange so.. Hopefully I figure it out..

Yes, there are two new extracts (Scav camp and Hole in Fence) Hole in fence is at the fence between SE extract (now: Emercom) and power station. Condition: No backpack The scav camp needs a PMC and a Player scav so thats basically unusable, in my 250h in it I never found a way to use these Apart from that not much has changed besides afaik the spawns have been somewhat diversified, you do spawn in general areas around NW and SE, but from time to time I had spawns very close to the Ultra Market
