The mounting bracket does not fit my mountain bike. Watch out with wide stems. My stem is wider than the bracket. The bracket fits 3 of our mountain bikes but not the bike I use the most.

Yes, there is a small leash with clip to attach to the dog's harness or collar

We have the buddy rider, which our Jack Russell loves. My previous Jack Russell preferred the bicycle trailor, but my current JR and dachshund hate it. The dachshund doesn't like the buddy rider. Therefore, I'm looking for a basket! All the kids are different!

Heidi and Apollo both ride in the trailer together, but I think she prefers the basket.

Would hate the drawstring to get tied in the tire. Could kill the pup :(. I would probably cut it super short.
