Good video, we live on the Goldy, so Canungra is just down the road for us. It’s a great spot, and even though it’s only 45 mins drive away, it feels like another world in the mountains. So if we could find a park like Bigriggen, or Cobb & Co around Canungra, that would be the ‘Holy Grail.’ We stayed in Sharpe Park a few years ago, on the other side of the river from where you were. It was ok, but nothing to write home about. I’ve contemplated going again, to the side you were in, but I just get the impression it’s a bit like camping in a field, so probably worth the extra 45 min drive to get to Bigriggen 🤷♂️

Thanks for watching. We agree, you definitely feel like you're in another world here. It's so peaceful in the mountains. For the price and location we prefer this over Bigriggen. We have been 4 times now and really like the oval because our kids get to interact with other kids and we can see them the entire time. They both have their pros and cons, there is somewhere for everyone 😊

@@FamilyEscapeAustralia Bigriggen has really bumped up its fees lately, it was about $200 for two nights (two adults two kids), over the last long weekend 😳 Needless to say we went elsewhere! Give Moogerah Lakeside Bush Retreat a go, it’s well worth a visit 👍

Oh wow! Camping should be affordable for all, I feel those prices are ridiculous. Will have to check it out, thanks for the tip 👍
