The stroller looks great but your dogs' body language tells me loud and clear that you were pushing them beyond their comfort level by just throwing them in and taking off for such a long ride. They were both very anxious and may never become comfortable with this after such a traumatic first time. When I receive mine in a couple of days I will let my dog set the pace for when he is comfortable and feeling safe enough to get in. There will be many treats involved to make the experience associated with feeling good (tasty treats.)
