def agreed that a lot of the characters are underdeveloped and that the story fumbles a bit at the end, but the way i see it, even if the main conflict steers from the more relatable human side, it's kinda... fitting, in a way? spider and raven are not human, and the way they get so petty and even selfish in a way reminds me of how the greek gods are portrayed in their mythos, extra-flawed, even corrupt
