I’m interested in this type of test for the atlanoaxial joint for bone degeneration. Is this the best test for this? Also, is it more rare, would you say, that the atlantoaxial joint would degenerate in a young person? Thank you.
@dr.paulinemoyaert Жыл бұрын
This test won't be suited for atlantoaxial joint degeneration and it depends what you call 'young'. It can, but it is very rare.

@@dr.paulinemoyaert Thank you very much. Are there any other tests that would be helpful? Also, Is there a particular name for atlantoaxial joint degeneration? I’m having a difficult time researching. It appears to be quite rare. Hopefully this nuclear CT will provide good info. This was an unexpected surprise after back surgery. I had another rare ailment. An arachnoid cyst that was very large in the thoracic region of my spine. All due to people who carelessly drive and text. 😕 Thank you, doctor. 🙂

@@Toadhouse2003 I'm sorry, I wish I could help you but to be honest, I'm not really familiar with atlantoaxial degeneration so I cannot make any statements about this. I hope you find the help you need. Take care! 💛

@@dr.paulinemoyaert It’s okay. I read that it was very rare, and from the few people I found on KZbin who have it, they say there are very few doctors who specialize in this type of disorder. Apparently, it’s going to be quite challenging. I’ve been so stressed all night, I decided to make some KZbin videos. 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you do much. I really appreciate you taking time by answering my questions. 🤗🥰💗

Are these tests toxic? I want to get images on the brain activity of an autistic 4 year old. I was discouraged by one doctor who said they would not test their child.
@dr.paulinemoyaert Жыл бұрын
No, they're not. Know that when you're on a long distance flight, you also get exposed to (quite a lot) of radiation. Getting the right diagnosis is so much more important, so I would not cancel a brain scan because you're afraid of what the radioactivity might do to their body.
