Bas explaining and flowing the steps of the recipe about murking someone WHILE tying the cake scheme all the way later with the Battenburg line (a type of cake and pattern on UK ambulances) is wild. The opening is insane too. It's a lot to unpack in one listen without several listens and pauses.

He's saying that he has the idealistic dreams like dr. king, that that's what he falls asleep to, the sound of the vacuum, the thoughts of dr. king, but he's sleeping to a different kind of hoover than you'd see in a sitcom, the feds are corrupt and we're surrounded by people trying to kill us, turning that dream into a nightmare-- like the way Freddie finds his way into your dreams to corrupt them. All together he's saying that he dreams like dr. king, but because of the nightmare we all live in, if he gets caught sleeping he gets turned to tuna. I could not overstate how crazy good those lines are, man.

If the transition of flow that I really liked when bass comes in and says he flipped the bird hit the curb and then Pete comes in and says he kissed the curb. It's that transition between the two is like the line doesn't break it melts the two verses together so well. When Beth said I'll go ten rounds and I won't stop until the Bell starts ringing and then Pete comes in and says ring a ling a ding ding, each one is finishing off the others first and they're doing it so well. I haven't found a reaction video yet that actually talks about this.

Every bar and verse is genius. I could go into specific detail on each bar, verse, schemes, beats etc but it'd take me hours to breakdown in it's entirety. And alot is just my interpretation. That opening verse has bars that have obvious meanings like "cats jumping like puma" "dream like Martin Luther"... As we know, the verse has a "sleep" scheme with "Dream" "Fall asleep" "Nightmare" "Sleep" in each bar. Now I could be way off thinking this, I've never read anyone mention it. But that opening verse also has a German/ww2 scheme. Let me explain. Luger - a German semi-automatic pistol used by German soldiers in ww2. Uber - Über is a German language word meaning over and above. Wi-fi - George Antheil, born to German immigrants in Trenton, New Jersey. In 1941, Antheil developed a radio guidance system for Allied torpedoes in ww2 to synchronize frequency changes, referred to as frequency hopping, between the transmitter and receiver. It is one of the spread spectrum techniques that became widely used in modern telecommunications. Antheil's work helped with the creation of Wi-Fi. Puma - a German sports brand founded by Rudolf Dassler in 1948. He was a member of the Nazi party. Fall asleep to the sound of the Hoover - in ww2 when enemy planes were near and about to start dropping bombs. An air raid siren would alert people to take shelter. The siren sounded like an old hoover (vacuum cleaner). Fall asleep meaning dying to the sound of the siren (hoover) as bombs landed. Krueger - a German surname. Also Walter Kruger a Nazi SS General in ww2. Martin Luther - a 16th-century German monk and reformer whose efforts to reform the theology and practices of the Catholic Church launched the Protestant Reformation. Tuna - HMS Tuna (N94) was a T-class submarine of the Royal Navy during ww2. It was equipped with German-built engines. USS Tuna (SS-203) was a United States Navy Tambor-class submarine, serving in the Pacific during ww2. - now it's just my interpretation, and I could go into even more detail on the full sesh, alot that ive never heard anyone mention.
