They DO NOT have a ghostwriter. For one thing, the lingo they use is from their gangster days. Most of these kids today don't know anything about that. Besides, why is it so hard for young folks like yourself to believe that they write their own lyrics??? As an older man myself, I take GREAT offense at that notion. Remember, we have been on this planet and in this game far longer than you all. I myself used to rap in the late 80s until the early 90's. Did it strictly for fun. Surprised a LOT of people! What they didn't know is that I have been following Hip-Hop since it's beginnings in the 1970s. Besides, Bas is musically inclined, and plays the piano as well as other things. That means it shouldn't be a problem to figure out the timing, rhythm, and cadence of Drill music. We older folks can do A LOT MORE than you young folks think. We let you all assume we cant(wink).

People aren't saying they have ghostwriters because their too old to write rap lyrics. They're saying they have ghostwriters because a lot of the lyrics contain modern vernacular. In an interview that Pete and Bas did they said they didn't listen to Rap music at all until Pete's granddaughter put it on in the car. So under their own admission they are unfamiliar with the music and therefore probably the culture and the slang which is why people are suspicious of them being able to drop bars that are so in touch with the culture. Personally I don't think they have Ghostwriters, probably just people to help them with the slang, but it's really not hard to see why people are sus. Stop being offended at something that isn't even an attack on you, get some fucking perspective, then you might actually understand where people are coming from next time instead of just getting mad for no reason. How the fuck am I, a 20 something year old telling a 50+ year old to grow up. Embarrassing
