@Mike Hunt it really was. What was interesting was that a lot of people came obviously seeing the videos as comical and I don't think they were quite ready for it to be as hype as is was. So the first few tracks were mellow for the crowd because most people were in shock but once people realised that this was the real deal it went off so hard.

I really like Pete but Bas is seriously on another level. I can't wrap my head around what I'm seeing from this man. I'm 39 years old and if I went on stage and did this one song with this much energy I would be fuckin tired and I'm in decent shape for my age. This man is inhuman.

I mean, phone microphone at a live show mixed god knows how vs polished (and probably) sped up recording. Probably is them on the tracks but ya gotta account for how much production can shape vocals

I also never heard such a difference between the backing track studio voice and the actual stage voice in a rap artist. I'd like to be proven wrong though. Maybe they use a shit ton of "studio magic" but if they do it's the god damn best studio work I've ever heard in my life. Cause on the tracks it really sounds like someone with a true deep/rapsy voice..
