This sounds like a good story but the Krays were from East London and these guys are South London. Pete is 67 (according to their agent site)which would have made him 14 years old when the Krays were arrested. Plus the Richardson gang would have murdered him for being in an east London gang. Nice story but doesn't check out. Doesn't mean he isn't or wasn't some sort of gangster in some way but def not for the Krays.

"Having ties' with the Richardsons could mean anything, I have ties with gangsters where I live. I don't work for them I just know them personally.Does that make me a gangster? I expect anyone from South London in that era would have known the Richardsons, just like anyone from the East End would have known the Krays. Doesn't mean they worked for them though. And there are no sources to confirm either way These 2 are working class men, so am I, and like most working class our lives cross over the law sometimes. It is a far cry from being 'shooters for the Krays' though, like some have mentioned.
