The African continent or the motherland (Ghana) is not a perfect continent or a country. We have our own lapses just like every other continent or country. People of diaspora should not only visit but bring their expertise to make the continent n mother Ghana a better place for all us. I can promise you that Ghana is one of the safest countries you can find on earth.

I don’t understand why do black Americans feel that the native Africans will harm them. Pls stop saying that. Africa is safe, peaceful and amazing.

Well, the white media in the U.S. and Caribbean only shows us the crime, civil wars, poverty and famine in Africa. They talk about people going to Africa and getting kidnapped for ransom or getting ripped off by some fake hotels or scammers. It's all very scary and made to keep us from visiting. On top of that a flight to Africa from the U.S. is twice to three times the cost of going to the Caribbean or Europe. So on top of the constant media barrage of crime and violence, cost is another factor that keeps African Americans from visiting. However, Jay and other KZbinrs are opening people's minds to the lies of the white media. And I think the Year of Return was a big push in African Americans coming to Africa. So many people visited and came back with exciting stories about how friendly, welcoming and beautiful the people and country were. Their stories gave us a new view of Africa/Ghana and now people are going to visit, moving to Ghana and other countries and living lives that they never would have thought possible.

Please, always remember that there are challenges in African countries, just like in other regions of the world. We visit Americas, Asia or Europe not because they are heavens but because we have to see for ourselves - otherwise the Malcom X question still beckons: who told you to hate yourself so much? Continue to visit other African countries to see the diversity for yourselves✌

The process that started spontaneously will accelerate over the next ten years: Africans from the Diaspora will return more and more to the African continent. It will be necessary to organize summer camps for adolescents, some of whom will then be able to return to study in American schools and universities open in black Africa. Some retirees will be able to come to Africa to spend their old age, between America and black Africa. Etc... we can no longer stop what has just begun. The migratory movement will increase rapidly between now and 2025-2030 The future of the world is in Africa. A viewer from Senegal, in West Africa
