Those "old greats" like Muddy Waters and BB King played those hardcore blues....and Pete said on first listen to Muddy he was completely hooked....so let me say this.On my first listen to the Climax Blues Band I was completely hooked.His "modern" version of the blues is some of the best I have ever heard ! Albums like "Plays On ", "A Lot of Bottle " ,Tightly Knit " Rich Man " "Stamp " are phenomenal.

Pete is one of the cleanest sounding guitarists, even playing with his fingers. He also uses the slide up and down across the strings. He is amazing and very underrated.
