We met Pete at the owner's rally last year. He's one of the coolest guys we've ever met!

I also met Pete briefly at last years owners rally and again this summer at Janus HQ were we got more acquainted and had lunch at the Olympia Candy Kitchen. He’s a genuine guy and a true bike rider who loves the open road as much as myself. His experience with the Janus family has been the same as mine so I can attest to everything said about their customer service.

All the yappers complaining about engine longevity need to talk to this man.

Pete is indirectly one of the best Janus salespeople I think you'll see after watching that vid. He gets the joy of riding. That is why I've been riding for over 60 years and waiting impatiently for my Halcyon 450 to arrive. He has riding in his blood and it is obvious. Instead of Gym Tan Laundry, I'd be Eat Ride Sleep. Having never met Pete, I still can tell he is as obsessed with riding as I am.

Sturgis 2024- Pete, met Richard and Brent (Janus Motorcycles) at Sturgis. They had so many good words about you and your Janus. So excited to see the man they talked about. You Rock! Janus-thanks for putting this video on about Pete- made our trip to see your motorcycles complete -Smiles from Wyoming

I work at ECD Automotive, so I can appreciate building something from scratch that is 100% bespoke. People that rag on these bikes just don't get it. If I was sitting on the fence about getting one, this guy just came up and pushed me over. As soon as I am able, I would love to spec out a 450. These things just ooze style that modern bikes can't hold a candle to. I love 'em.

This was very helpful as someone who most likely will be a future customer. I always loved the hemi orange on the old mopars and Harleys, but I never really liked Harleys because they're just too big. I did talk to one of your sales or parts staff a little while ago about possibly obtaining a custom Halcyon 250 since it is a little more obtainable for me budget wise than the 450. And I'll I did come up with a killer paint scheme for it, I still have some thoughts about the design that might improve it. I call it the nightmare. As I am the scarecrow. So it seems fitting to call it as such🎃

I have a motorcycle in the Philippines called Motorstar Cafe 400. It is built in China by Shineray motorcycles company. From 2000 to 2006 this model was built for Honda and was called CB400SS. The engine of my bike is almost indentical to the Halcyon engine. So I believe it is built by Shineray company as well. Bottom line it was designed by Honda. I paid $2500 for mine, brand new. Assembled in Philippines. Cannot believe that bike sells for $16K.

I have seen a lot of people talk bad about these bikes, to see one with 43k on it is great. I have always liked the 450. Glad to see these bikes last. This would be a great bike to ride on the old 2 lane highways across country. I have a 2024 Suzuki DR650, if I had the room I would be getting one of these. Ride safe and keep us posted on how many miles that this bike goes.

I've seen a disturbing number of comments and videos regarding the erratic rpm needle. I've never owned a bike that had an rpm needle dance around like I've seen on Janus motorcycles. It's not a one-off problem with a single customer. It's happening again and again. Why can't Janus get this sorted out? You can see it in one of Janus' own videos..the one where the co-founder is talking about the 450 engine. There's a first-person video of a guy riding and you can see his rpm needle dancing around. That video is from 2 yrs ago and it's still seen in recent videos. If a company is asking people to pay $15,000 for a basic motorcycle, make sure the basic functions work properly.

You mean the red bottle on the left side of the bike? That's a MSR fuel bottle. Great for carrying a small amount of gas just in case you run out or need just a bit more fuel to get to the next gas station. Their intended use is for camping related fuels, which of course, they're great for.

My papa doesn’t need to find a job. He worked his ass off to get to where he is.He’s the sweetest amazing man ever. And he’s brave as hell. He’s been in more than three motorcycle accidents because people can’t pay attention to the road. He’s even lost a leg due to one of those accident. He can dress however he likes. Thank you have a great day !

@melissaperez7487 If you'll notice it's in quotes. It's a line from the Big Lebowski. "The Dude" it's funny and had nothing to do with your father's state of employment.
