Nobody could get a crowd to sing like Pete could. Rest in peace my friend.

This my friends, is more intense than rock music. Pete’s songleading would change the world, if the right people heard it!

What an absolutely wonderful religious song! Nobody than Pete with audience could sing that great song in his original way! I love that great song!Pete, oh my God,, we all miss you so ! But you will stay here forever! I still love you so ,my greatest idol of my live! I know, we all will see us one day again! RIP!

I'm sure it's not a choir. Pete was a man who could make one forget that one cannot really sing, but then, suddenly, folks tried, felt more and more encouraged and sang ...! I'd like to remind you on Pete's Carnegie Hall concert in '63 ... there's exactly that effect ...

That's what he did at all of his concerts! I got to hear him in a concert at Sonoma State University, in California, in the mid-70s. It was wonderful! A lot of us sang harmonies along with him. ❤

Beautiful song. Errata, the song is: We are climbing Jacob's ladder We are climbing Jacob's ladder We are climbing Jacob's ladder Brothers in our land Every rung goes higher, higher Every rung goes higher, higher Every rung goes higher, higher Brothers in our land Every new man makes us stronger Every new man makes us stronger Every new man makes us stronger Brothers in our land We are black and white together We are black and white together We are black and white together Brothers in our land

What a wonderful performance! I was wondering if the audience is the real choir. I'm asking this because it sounds so professional!
