Meu lutador favorito.

Both are great fighters. But in this case, luckily, filho's basis are kyokushin which tempered all body parts especially shin, fist, and body, so it's tougher than normal human, but even so, peter are so clever in defence and attack tactics. If they were about to have the same toughness level of bodies, i wonder who'll win. Anyway, i love filho because he's the proud of Kyokushin, OSU!
@sorinionut2206 жыл бұрын
Peter was not clever. His boxing was better and if he was smart he would've thrown punches only-he even dropped him with a punch. Kicks do nothing against a Kyokushin based fighter, you just damage your own leg

@@sorinionut220 "Kicks do nothing against a Kyokushin based fighter" So are you insinuating Andy Hug just mysteriously fell unconscious at the exact moment Peter's shin collided with the side of his head in 1998, and it was in no way because of the high kick he threw? Lol, come on, man. It doesn't matter what the guy's base is, Peter Aerts' kicks are plenty capable of ending the fight.

@sorinionut2206 жыл бұрын
there is a simple explanation: Kyokushin rules don't allow head punches. Anything else goes. No matter the style you're not gonna beat a top kyokushin fighter using kicks or body punches, the are near-immune to that. Only way is punches to the head. Bernardo and Lebanner are boxers and they KOed Filho with head punches. However Filho beats better fighters than Lebanner/Bernardo like Remy/Aerts/Hoost because they have a kicking-heavy style.

Pretty one-sided... would have been interesting to include Andy on the Katate team though.
