There's a big difference asking to adopt a kid whose father doesn't want to know and trying to adopt a kid from a father who plays an active role in his children's lives. I adopted my son when he was 9, after meeting his mum when he was 6. He's disabled with severe learning difficulties which is why his biological father has never wanted anything to do with him. He's now 17 and his mum and I have been married over 8 years now. Now he can't call me dad because he doesn't talk due to his profound learning difficulties but he knows I love him and no matter what happens between his mum and I, I will always be there for him

The difference here is that Peter is clearly an active father, unlike Dwight. So to suggest that someone else would take that role from him is disrespectful. From what I’ve read in interviews online from Katie is that Dwight has not see Harvey since he was 4 years old, he’s now 18. He’s not a father, he’s an absent father. Peter clearly isn’t that and would have no reason to believe anyone would want to adopt his children whilst he is around.

Dwight yorke once got into the back of my Ford Orion thinking i was a taxi!!! True story…..lol ….he was so pissed stood outside a nightclub in Birmingham ……he climbed in the back seat so i realised what was happening and said ‘where to Dwight?’ …..he just managed to slur ‘Hyatt’……so i drove him there and when i pulled up he asked how much?…….i said call it £20 - he paid and stumbled into the Hotel - 🤣…….very odd moment for sure!

No matter what I do I can not get the sperm donor to even MEET his son and its the most heart breaking thing to deal with. How the heck do you make a human being and walk away from them? With the greatest respect, You don’t know the circumstances. None of us do. There’s two sides to every story. In Yorke’s view, he tried to get access but was forbidden from doing so. Now, IF that’s true, then as the child’s father, he has every right to be upset for that reason alone, but then to pour salt on wounds by having the mother of his child’s latest squeeze wanting to adopt the child he’s been denied access to?? If it’s true that Yorke took nothing to do with the boy from day 1 then that’s another matter completely, but you surely must admit it was extraordinarily hypocritical of Andre to get emotionally upset here when the question was posed to him as to how he would feel if he was asked by another man if he could just come in and adopt his kids. That’s exactly what he was doing to Yorke.
