Lewis The Lycanroc Fan I'm going to be sorely disappointed if they go back to a ADHD young doctor. Peter was something refreshingly new and deep. Unfortunately, he had to deal with Moffit's mediocre showrunning..which isn't Peter's fault. I'd like to of had a Peter/Davis combo in some alternative universe..I think it would of been amazing. If they resort to another 10/11 type of doctor it'll be uncreative and disappointing.

This video made me actually cry. I saw Peter Capaldi at San Diego Comic Con and I remember him walking into the giant Hall H and it felt like all the air was sucked out of the room. His presence is so big, but his smile and laugh made everyone so happy and comfortable. I saw him later that weekend in a smaller venue and the same thing happened. He is the Doctor, but he's also an extremely humble and charming person. I will miss him on the show, but he will always be the Doctor.

Nooo! No, no, no, no! I am not ready. (I have never thought, "well, I am going ot miss the Doctor played by....." I always look forward to new Doctor or new companion. But not this time. Just one more season, would it have hurt?!?!!! I watch only 2 shows with any fatifhulness for not just the season, but the next episode. They are NCIS and Doctor Who. That is it, period. I'm still heartbroken. I've been watching Doctor Who since I was little & it aired on PBS in my area on Friday nights. That was always family night for us; it was the only time my mom would let my brother & I stay up late to watch the show. I've seen all the Doctors & I am fond of them for different reasons. I'm sorry to see Peter leave, he's the best Doctor since Tom Baker IMHO. I just pray they don't cast some guy just because "he's young and hot" and sure as hell NOT some piece of no talent garbage like Benidict Cumberbatch. Also a woman Doctor would NOT "ruin the show." If watching the show for you is dependant on the Doctor having a penis then you're no better than the bratty little teens who stopped watching because Peter has grey hair. I know who I'd like to see as the first female Doctor - Dame Judi Dench. Granted, it would be expensive and most likely they could only afford her for a tv movie version. But that would be awesome all the same. Dench as The Doctor, Dame Maggie Smith as Missy, and Rufus Sewell and his soul stealing eyes for the companion. Other than that, Patrick Stewart would be a great Doctor too.

I just couldn't believe it, I was just sat there listening to the show eating some Jammy dodgers and then BAM. Although watching Doctor Who was not a new thing, Peter Capaldi was someone new and different to me. While the others were watched via Netflix/Hulu, Capaldi was watched the next day on iTunes due to not having BBC at home. His characterization of an old man with a younger attitude, coupled with the changes in writing/format made to refresh the programme were a bit to take, but he won me over. From his more alien manners to his rock star ways, he became a favorite. He inspired me in fashion (elements are rock inspired) and music (he and Kevin Max inspired me to listen to David Bowie.) In spite of watching stories from Doctors past and anticipating the next incarnations with open arms, I can honestly say the Twelfth is my Doctor.

by the end of the last season, we lost my favorite companion. by the end of the new season, we'll be losing my favorite Doctor. I actually have no words nor any emotions left to deal with this show anymore, and I'm not even kidding. I love Peter SO much. he did a marvelous job being The Doctor, and I really hoped he'd stuck longer. I hope things will change in time. I'd really struggle to see a new Doctor filling (or at least trying) to fill his shoes..

I've been a big fan of Peter Capaldi for awhile now and seeing him as The Doctor was a dream. So upset he's leaving. I took it hard when Tennant and Smith left. Not sure how I will fair with Capaldi leaving because he is one of my favorite actors. 😭😭😭

Never could get into him as the doctor, he had some great times and then would be like why am I watching this. I know some of it was the writing and episodes,but others was his approach to the Doctor. I know my daughter and. Her friends will be happy some stopped watching the show totally because of the 12th Doctor. I wish. Him well and hope they(the writers) bring some life back to the show.

For The Doctor's next regeneration I would love to see a split into two persons. One is male and becomes The Valeyard, taking dark aspects and messing around in the Dr.'s past. One side is female and has to ultimately team with Missy to reunite. This offers a range of possibilities for both depth and titillation! Everybody wins!

RIP John Hurt. If he was still around, a special or 1/2 season with him as the War Doctor would have been good now, leading into a new Doctor and rebooted series.
