Great interview! The Steely Dan concert in '93 at Shoreline that Peter mentioned is a great show, and I actually just recently posted a cleaned up version of it on my channel where I was able to greatly improve the sound quality for anybody that's interested.

Having read a lot of the interviews from Rush's "Clockwork Angels" era, Geddy and Alex were very, very aware of Peter Erskine and Neil's lessons with him. They were immensely impressed with Neil's "new clock" and the power behind the kit that he was playing with. He was always known for really pounding the kit hard, but if you look at live videos from the Time Machine, Clockwork Angels, and R40 tours, the kit is literally shaking while he's playing. That came from Peter's tutelage. So yeah, Peter should have passed Geddy that note. I'm pretty sure Geddy would have been humbled to hear from him.
