Dragons' Den

Күн бұрын

Willis and his partner Hugh Roper were seeking additional investment for Willis’ Torch invention, which was a cleverly-designed lit-up rechargeable cycle helmet that could be seen from all directions. After a well thought-out pitch that impressed the Dragons, Peter Jones revealed he knew more about one of the entrepreneurs than they had let on…
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

I think the issue is, that a multi millionaire could easily put his own money in. So if he doesn't, there's got to be a reason for it. They just wanted to know why he would look for foreign money, when he can use his own and get all the profits for himself.

@@ekidmusic Don't virtue-signal. They are more likely to be nice towards people who have money because it is demonstrable of the fact that those people know what they are talking about. There have been hundreds of people on the show over the years who have tried to take the Dragons for fools, so they have to tear into budding investors and figure out whether or not they are worth going into business with. Those with proven success stories are better people to go into business with. Besides, none of them were "nice" enough to make an offer.

Being positive is the key to success. Typical dragons- rich and thick. No mention of how the helmet secures to your head, if the lights are waterproof, charge and run times, if the front lens would shatter on impact and send shards in the face, what the helmet skin and padding is made from, child sizes available....... NOTHING like pitching to a group of lil kids , the way the dragons received the pitch was appalling, each and every one let themselves down AGAIN on tv hahahahaaaaaa
