Hello cousins 😂 Peter fiddler was my 5th great grandfather. Peter-Charles-Alexander-Mary etc etc. Fun fact… I have been a land surveyor for the past 15 years. Ended up in this field of work several years before learning any knowledge of my ancestry.

I am from Peter Fidler's hometown of Bolsover, where there is a small monument and a nature reserve named in his honour. His little town in England is a world away in all respects from this grand wilderness. Sadly, he seems to be more revered in Canada than in his native land.
