This was from a double live album in the 70s , Frampton Comes Alive. It was sooo good, literally every teen and young adult in the country bought it. Broke records for double and live albums. And most of us hadn’t even heard of him before this! This launched Frampton into the stratosphere and they basically backed the Brinks truck up to his front door.

Frampton was my first musical love. My best friend’s older brother and sister saw him on the Frampton Comes Alive tour, sitting front row center. At one point he wiped his face off with a towel and threw it into the audience and my friend’s brother caught it. We used to take it from its place in one of his drawers and squeal, “It has his sweat on it!” He was the biggest star in the world at 24. And he deserved to be. 😊

When a girl in my 7th grade class got this album, we all went to her house after school to listen to it. A bunch of tweens sitting around in her basement fawning over the album cover 😍 and listening to the record. That’s how we listened to music in the old days. 😉

Same here. This was our Junior year in HS when my friend got Frampton's album and we planned to listen to it on a Friday night in her basement. So we got a few friends together, some food and drinks and had a listening party. We did this often with many favorite artists - Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Queen - the list goes on and on! Too many fantastic artists in this era!

I saw Frampton and Gary Wright on the Comes Alive tour in Hawaii: 1976. I was stationed at Pearl Harbor, and this show was in the middle of an incredible string of concerts and performers that I had the pleasure to see. His performance was unbelievable.

Frampton was a constant presence in my cassette deck when I was a kid. Imagine how excited I was to see him live in my hometown, in Canada, in 2010. No bangs then Polo. He was bald and could still shred a mean guitar!

It's good to see an intelligent man doing reactions. I tend to listen again through your ears and mind.

I don’t know of any musicians in the last 20 years, and couldn’t even hold a candle next to this kind of music

The wonderful 70's!! I believe EVERY kid, under law, was supposed to own Frampton Comes Alive, along with the Boston Debut album AND Foreigner's - Foreigner One. If you did not own said albums, I think you were deported!!! Frampton put out such an interesting vibe! Love the reaction - Peace!

FUN FACT: Peter played guitar on a number of tracks on George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" album and wasn't credited at the time but eventually his contribution the classic record would become known.

Frampton is a wonder! You can't imagine the amount of teenage girl excitement going on in my house just waiting for him to come on stage during this show in 1975!! Great reaction, thanks!
