I don’t know about worship but I agree with your point. Have you ever heard him talk about playing acoustic guitar on All Things Must Pass? Funny

Agree 💯 with your assessment/ known primarily as a Rock Star after the huge success of Comes Alive- he is truly one of the most melodic players in the history of Rock !!!

Petey still slayin' it! Let's give a nod to some of the other axemen who kept on keepin' on when their legs had betrayed them. J.J. Cale, Johnny Winter, Leslie West, B.B. King...the list goes on of those who loved playing more than anything. Besides, seated playing is more accurate, effective, and expressive, imho!😊

Spectacular!!! As good as any of my heroes from the 70's, Beck, Page, Gilmour, Gibbons, Blackmore.

That is why we improvise. No notated music sheet could ever capture such an emotion. Shame on the so-called 'classical music'.

I grew up with Peter and he always wanted to be able to play blues guitar. Remember him buying my red '55 Stratocaster guitar because he wanted to sound like Clapton. He would do anything to attain that talent but to this day is horrible at it. This sounds like DOG SHIT. My suggestion is to play what you know Peter and be satisfied. You are a great guitarist, don't try to be someone you're not.
