What wasn't being said, was almost as interesting as what was said. We're all dying to know what's gone on with his nephew, but the bottom line is, it's their business, and you can't expect to know what goes on in families. Wouldn't be fair. With Hughie though, I see him being a danger to anyone in a year or two. Just that bit of extra time will make all the difference.

I agree, although i can't imagine falling out with a member of my family to the extent i won't even mention there name..seems a little hypocritical for a man who insists family is the most important thing. Hughie just seems to be in the middle but tends to side with his old man for an easy life. As far as boxing goes though Hughie is destined to hold a belt i'm sure,like Tyson he is a very awkward and a tough customer for anyone. Thanks for the upload :-)

Ganja-warrior-365 Yeah definitely mate. I hope they have a reconciliation at some point cos not only is Peter world class as a trainer, but you can see how the tight knit group worked well. People fall out, but time passes and sense often prevails. Lot of time in life to put things right.
@Thirdfish
@Thirdfish 6 жыл бұрын
The fall out is serious because not only has he left Peter, he's left Mick Hennessy the guy who put all of his cash to help build Tyson Fury. He jumped ship to MTK and Frank Warren for bigger money.

Found Peter's comments about not doing warm up fights interesting. To me, that seemed a clear reference to Tyson. There's no way Peter would've agreed to Seferi as an opponent if he was still Tyson's coach.

It's the indirect comments that he makes, such as him not doing warm up fights - when that's exactly what Tyson has done. I get that Ben helped Tyson to get back on his feet, whereas Peter was happy to sit back and let Tyson have time to get himself right. So you can understand why he feels bitter about it.

Peter fury is a world class trainer his training helped Tyson win world gold without doubt, but Tyson got trained by his uncle hughie aswel and all the travelers are born fighters from a early age they don’t mess about I’ve seen travelers spark out an army of bouncers and other sorts in clubs. I hope peter guides him back to gold again and they can keep it the right way this time 🥊

Hmmmm. Some great questions there, you're thinking outside the box. A few wonky ones as well, and it sounded a bit like a job interview. Good work though. As for Peter, I've always found him to be honest, as straight as an arrow, calls a spade a spade, and he was very polite to me on Twitter. He has an extremely expressive face though, he's an open book if you look. When you mentioned Tyson ("trained two men to be champions") he looked away, raised his eyebrows and his left eye closed a little bit. That's not wanting you to know something, feeling underappreciated, then being defensive towards your next comment or question. So I think the fact that Peter got Tyson to the top, and now Tyson is saying he's enjoying boxing with his new trainer, is a bit of a knife in the back. Maybe Tyson didn't handle the change of trainer very well. I don't know, I just wish them well and I hope if there is a problem, that they fix it quickly, I'm sure underneath any problem they love each other. We all have limited days here, just say your piece and make peace, if you can. I hope Peter is getting that cough looked at as well, he's had it for a long time now.

I think Hughie has massive potential for the future. Don't forget he is still only 24 years old. He would have learnt so much from his loss against Parker (ie throwing the right hand with more spite,) it may well prove to be the making of him.

Hearn is a promoter and wouldn't want his top fighter at risk I reckon the fight will take place on the 20th May in the year 20never and at the new boxing style Wembley stadium. This stadium will come equipped with specialist Italian referees, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and Helen Keller as the judges, with Howard Foster on Health and Safety to rule a no contest if AJ gets stopped Also super small away dressing room with no warm-up facilities for the opponent. Whoops, I forgot plans for the stadium have yet to be submitted so it won't be built any time soon."

Sound is quite distorted. May be worth having the input gain lower when recording to prevent going into the red, also on your microphone have a look at your polar patterns. trouble with boxing now is theres too many interviews with the same questions always being asked and answerd. thats not any one persons fault theres just so so many youtubers interviewing people. peter seemed to light up in the final few minets of this interview when asked about what motervates him for life, maybe it was cause he was asked somthing outside of the normal preditable rotain boxing questions, that hes had to repeat so many times. think guys like him must tire abit some times with the normal run of the mill talk. although i know there is a time and place for the standard stuff to be gon over.

You can say what you like about Peter. Hes a top level trainer. Tyson has got the sort of boxing brain to make it back to the top with a physiotherapist & a chef. The man is a boxing nerd. Would've thought that they'd always have been together though, Peter was instrumental in his victory over Wlad. so the rift is unfortunate. But they've carried themselves with honour as a family in the sport, so to expect any airing of dirty laundry in public is fanciful. They'll keep it between themselves, as they should.
@callumbiasnow4825
@callumbiasnow4825 6 жыл бұрын
To be fair both sides have not said a bad word about each other publicly, so what ever went on you have to respect that they protect and respect their family, even when they're not on good terms. I heard it had something to do with Peter taking Hughie to Hayes gym etc. But I think it's probably more down to Tyson messing around with coke/ not training seriously when Peter was putting in the hours trying to get him ready for a world title defence.
@fizzy3427
@fizzy3427 6 жыл бұрын
Or maybe it's just something that the public can't know at any cost. IE Tyson got his coke through Peter and it went to his head and they think distance is the best way to handle it.

@danielpatrick3761
@danielpatrick3761 6 жыл бұрын
What i got from this is the indirect stuff. 'a world champion has to live and breath the gym', 'you have to be a very sensible person, a humble person and see danger around every corner'. Cant say you'd associate either of these with Tyson... I dont agree with the comms saying 'hes bitter'. I think Tyson and him parted, rightly or wrongly, and that's that. Now he's focused on Hughie, he's not training Tyson so why would he want to talk about him all the time. No doubt there's been a falling out of sorts, it happens. Tyson's with a far inferior team now, but maybe he'd never have got back in at all if it was with Peter and his more focused and disciplined approach. IMHO Tyson wont ever reach the heights without Peter that he could've but then if that's his personality, and he's too non conformist, then fine. FWIW i'd love to see him work under Dominic Ingle, i think Ben Davison is really just a conditioning coach and yes man for Tyson. Peter would never work under those conditions, hence the split. Anyway best wishes for both Tyson and Hughie. Think the latter really will grow into a special talent...

No body has mentioned the fact that during the fury/Parker press conference peter and Hughie mocked Higgins because of alledged cocaine use. Maybe that was one of a possible culmination of reasons they fell out. The timing would be too coincidental for that to have not been the reason Tyson had a party with Parker. Maybe they were already not on good terms but that might have split them up. Sounds rather pathetic but who knows how Tyson thinks. He may have taken that personal

Don’t think Hughie fury will ever be a world champion! No disrespect but Joseph Parker won that fight & peter can’t take it! Plus a don’t think Tyson Fury will be world champion again fuck Hughie has more chances of winning the belt than Tyson . TYSONS next real opponent will fuck him up definitely! Every fighter in the top 7 of the world will destroy Tyson honestly watch this space!

Long story short. The fallout occurred because Peter slept with Tyson's wife, Paris, on multiple occasions. It was all denied of course, but the damage was too much. Personally I don't think the rumours are true. Tyson genuinely needed to live a bit, and upon return have a fresh team.
