Security has always been my favorite PG solo album. The lyrics are consistently enigmatic and creative, and the soundscaping and atmospheres are profoundly haunting. I remember listening to my mom's vinyl copy when I was 10 and being both terrified and drawn in, as one often is with a horror movie at that age. Glad to see a five-star review for Up though, love that one.

Thank you for watching and commenting! Yes, Security is a very powerful album and one that I feel doesn't get it's proper due.

1. Melt (one of my favorites of all time, has a crisp sound that never ceases to impress) 2. So (the best album of 86, a prime example of how one can go commercial without being terrible) 3. Car (a very eclectic and fun start to an excellent career) 4. Security (a very primal and energetic album, the inclusion of African musical traditions combined with a contemporary western musical style were a nice touch) 5. Up (not crazy about the barry Williams show, but everything else on here is either gold or very good. Very dark, very underrated) 6. Us (a disappointment with some great stuff on it, although it gets better with age. Side A is much better than side B) 7. Scratch (not bad at all but didn't find it that interesting. Tried too hard to be commercial and Bowie sounding, which isn't bad but could have been better).

Melt Security Car So Up Scratch Us I just saw Steve Hackett in concert for his Genesis Revisited tour, you should do his albums as well.

Just wondering, how many stars would you give PG’s newest album, i/o?
@Starman-zi9tlАй бұрын
Thank you for watching and commenting! At the moment I would say it's a very strong 3 stars. In fairness though, I need to spend more time with it. It took my awhile with UP, and that is still one of my favorites of his. So, as of now, 3, however, that could change (for the better).

Am i the only one who hates his solo work?

Music is very subjective, so I'm sure you're not the only one!
