A lot of scenes from the trailer are different, "I didn't know there were bears in these woods", for instance in the trailer he's in the advanced suit, but in game he has the black suit during that scene

Too bad they didn't do it like this in New Game+. They should have coded it where if wearing the Raimi red/blue suit you transform into the black Raimi suit. If wearing a Classic suit you transform into the Classic black suit, if wearing the upgraded suit you transform into the black upgraded suit and all other suits just get the default Insomniac black suit.

Still can't get over how great the Red and Blue Raimi Suit looks now. Insomniac delivered big time plus with New Game + here allowing us to finally play Black Suited missions in any suit we want it's simply amazing. Even the change into the suit looks good which yeah I know it's edited which It would be even cooler if Insomniac allowed us to switch suits during cutscenes cause that would make this even better.

It's just a side effect of removing the suit lock. The easy route was to either remove the suit lock and forced suit changes entirely, or leave them exactly as they were, and with Insomnia and Sony as a whole both taking some major staff cuts and Insomniac getting that data breach, I can understand them taking the easy route to keep this game alive

I love Insomniac to death for these games, but, we don't have to sugarcoat it when they do something that's not quite as developed as you'd want it to be. It's hard to deny that this feels sloppy, and that's because it is indeed sloppy. That's okay though, that happens. What I think really should have happened before this update went live was for them to make the suit you switch to during Symbiote Surge selectable through the suit selection screen. If you don't want your appearance to change during surge, select the same suit as base and surge. You could select Raimi as base and black Raimi as surge to actually get this effect in game for real. Any combination you want, just like that. I'd totally go from a classic red suit to the classic black suit, really wish I could've done that.

@@CraneOnaKrane in the comics Venom and Symbiotes in general are a peaceful species that just wants to go out and make the perfect bond However because spider man was in a dark place at the time he ended up corrupting the suit and turning it into venom with how he treated it Heck Venom himself sees his actions as good since he was bonded with spider man “You don’t know anything about us! But we. We know everything about you! Were poison to Peter Parker and spider man. That’s why we call ourselves Venom” It’s ultimately through Eddie Brock that the symbiote becomes a good guy and the 2 get to truly know Peter Parker and ultimately the 2 become best friends But nah the Raimi movie and the animated series made the suit evil in order to make spider man less of a jerk for getting rid of it and now the goo and venom are inseparable Btw Venom is the being that’s created from Eddie and the black goo. Basically when the suit fuses with spider man it doesn’t make Venom it actually makes a whole new being The name of the creator that’s combined with the host and the suit are different depending on the host. That’s to say if Scorpion and Venom fuse, they wouldn’t make Venom. They’d actually make a new being Another example of this is how Carnage the suit is called Rascal and not carnage. And one time Cletus called it Red

Play the mission twice, first part using red and blue then second next use the black suit and you'll be able to have the both suits to do an edit

Insomniac should add normal suit/surge suit combination option, in which you can select the costume for your default costume and one for your surge mode. This way the whole issue for cut scenes in which Peter transforms into black suit should also be negated
