LOVE Peter Kay, he's one of our National Treasures in the comedy world, so down to Earth, just hilarious.

You can tell the audience warmed to the newcomer Peter Kay here, even at a young age you can tell he was going to make it big however don’t think anyone realised just how big and how much the nation would fall in love with him

You are bang on with the description, "Clean-clever!", he really is and talks about things we are all familiar with but manages to make them hilarious! As others say, a national treasure!

Peter Kay is incredible: @01:30 he got sidetracked by a woman going to the toilet, seamlessly incorporated her departure into the show and continued on another theme afterwards. I betting most people didn't realise that he hadn't finished his joke prior to the distraction.

Bamboozle was a primitive remote controlled quiz on teletext. CBC ran their own for a short while in the 80's. Wiki: The CBC ran a teletext service, IRIS, accessible only in Calgary, Toronto and Montreal. It ran from 1983 until about 1986, and used the Canadian-developed Telidon system, which was developed in 1980. Like Antiope, Telidon allowed significantly higher graphic resolution than standard teletext. - Which is exactly what Bamboozle was run on (on ITV) a superior (not by much) but it was easier to create recognizable images and graphics, create polls and questions the user could respond to. BBC ran the CEEFAX service which was a more simplified text service for news, detailed sports results and up to the minute money exchange etc.

How many legs has a dog got? Can I phone a friend? Can you just fuckin leave love? Can you just go? Here's your coat see ya tara love Peter Kaye is a legend here in Manchester. He used to play the Frog & Bucket Comedy Club in central Manchester ( around the time of this recording ) people were astounded at how good he was with a crowd, they would always put him on last because of how good he was a controlling the crowd so there was less chance of a drunk heckler. People love him because he's a local lad and has the same sense of humour as you and your mates but he just knows how to make it 10x funnier. Probably my favourite British comedian after Ricky Gervais.

Good if you could do a review on The League of Gentleman . Go visit Royston Vasey you’ll never leave and the Room No 9 series is a must watch . British humour at its darkest . Enjoy .😁🇬🇧❤️🇨🇦

Always great laughs and fun with you lovely peeps (people)! Feels just ike sitting with family enjoying a TV show and finding something so funny u all just keep each other laughing with silly but fun comments. Love your review choices. Try Billy Connelly and an old lady on a bus, if you can. Or Jimmy Carr dealing with hecklers. Or the long titled '8 out of 10 cats does countdown '. Particularly withe the late gr8 Sean Lock ,or with 'the poem'

Hi B&L, Loved your reaction to this Peter's a brilliant, warm, relatable comic, This must be 25yr plus old yet everything still stands up, On another note can the next vid be Lucy in a tractor after a few steins attempting an obstacle course? Cheers Jim, UK X

My husband was a taxi driver. It would really piss him off on Saturday night when passengers would say, “ you must be coining it in” my husband would say “ oh yeh coining it in., that’s why your dressed up and going on a night out, AND IM F***ING WORKING”
