Peter Lynch is definitely someone you should be studying if you want to learn about investing and the stock market . During his time running the Fidelity Magellan Fund, Lynch averaged a 29.2% annual return, consistently more than double the S&P 500 stock market index and making it the best-performing mutual fund in the world. Here is my 9 favorite pieces of advice from Peter Lynch. Number 5 is my personal favorite. Enjoy!

I don’t care how many times Lynch’s clips get uploaded by how many channels; I watch every one, every time. Solid gold, never gets old.

The Peter Lynch is moved up into the one of the largest investment funds in the stock market today holding more assets than any other mutual fund probably now he's really doing good in returns with projections of 29% that's right he's above the 20% S&p index curves I think the reason is he's even more smart savvy and that he's understanding the difference between defensive and offensive and midcap so now with the diversification and timing and execution he's very well it will stay in the number one position as far as large mutual

I didn't get the last point about Kaiser Industries. Why did the company liquidate itself?
@InvestorCenter
@InvestorCenter 3 жыл бұрын
Because it was incredibly undervalued. The company was a holding company that owned many different companies. The individual companies values, when added together, was worth more than what the holding company was trading for. Therefore, a liquidation was in the best interest of shareholders

Kaiser Industries was basically a holding company whose holdings were worth more than Kaiser Industries by itself. So the company liquidated itself to realize the value of their holdings.

It in the correction parodies that is defensive but then he gets into a zone where he's in the middle of the Court he's he becomes a more assertive and he is investment strategy changes as he goes into the mid cap but then as he sees a green light and then he really closes in on the net aggressively and it's aggressive action is a higher risk and volatility but way higher reward and this I think propels them above the 20% S&p which is almost impossible for any mutual fund to to surpass 20%, we're all going for some around the 16.7 even 16% returns for year would be what we're expecting but to go beyond that is you know that's icing on the cake really The benchmark is usually somewhere in the middle what we're doing now is yeah learning from this how how we market time and execution become what's really important in making money as we get into more volatile markets inflation and rising costs this becomes very even more important than just the buy and hold strategy he looks more than just being in the middle of this he's more aggressive now and as he matures he wants he demands even more returns annually so if this happens he will be driving more investors into interest mutual funds pretty lucrative this year I feel it's still going to be at the top with his his strategy is what I'm trying to emulate really is the

Yeah critical things are like how many stocks you should have in your portfolio what impact does that have on your investments what sectors you should be in at certain times those could be broken down into 3 months sectors like 12 months in a year be broken down into three months sectors which get up could possibly you could possibly move into different sectors during the year sectioning out where as market changes quarterly you might want to sell it a profit with one sector and then move into even a hotter sector which could raise your the 20% medium growth range up to 27% so this is how he does it this is how I play tennis results 6062 I've been really hammering at everybody up with just overall investment strategy

His children men's competition in battle markets during he's up against Magellan vanguard probably 50 funds that are noted for being excellent but overall average year to year sector he's listening up to the number one positions in other words it's mostly tactical how he he what stocks he buys at certain times taking advantage of momentum and just overall assessment of the stock investing environment this makes him real savvy and so execution is is more precise because he is well aware of any changes in the market just by keeping up to date on current events when he sees oil prices rising or a situations in war and military complexes moving in than he sees a corrections possibly in the market he's more defensive stocks so you'll see but then again that's the atmosphere changes in the battlefield he'll change his tactics and quickly and execute and this is what he takes advantage of market corrections where is other buying old strategist they just stay in the middle and seem to be waiting for average gains that's all great I can't complain about average gains 18 20% but if you want something more aggressive if you want more punch for your dollar especially if you're getting up in your age you don't have five years so let's say you want to 2 year range of something then you you're better off with Meryl edge because Meryl is an active trader but he's not high risk either he's always thinking in terms of safety nets but at the same time taking advantage of investment opportunities so you have to think you can't just be numb to what's going on you have to be very quite active and alert so it's visualization of the changes in septal changes my new changes in the field of investing I keep them number one I feel in the upcoming years and investment
