Saw him on the 1986 tour in Tallahassee, Florida. I did not know this song at the time and I cried during the song. A college crowd was left silent and motionless. One of the best concerts I have seen and it was a whopping $5!

This was my favorite alternative song from the summer of 1985 ( I believe it was ‘85). I couldn’t listen to it enough- and it never gets old. What a pretty song…although I like the “produced” version better than this acoustic version, but his voice is perfect.

It hurts my hand to play less than that much of it... it's all frigging bar chords. Plus he's playing it on a 12 string so you have to push twice as hard. After a few minutes of that I'm done. Ouch!
