As a performer of the musical theatre for 40 years this Peter Pan is wonderful and very talented....however, I've only seen the role of Peter Pan portrayed by a female with due respect to how it was written. Beautiful looking production and Break A Leg❤

This is NOT the classic "Peter Pan" from years ago!! Be prepared for MAJOR changes! THIS "Peter Pan" is now "catering to a new generation" (Spoilers Ahead!) Here are some examples: It's NOT set in London, Wendy is a self-assured feminist who wants to be a doctor and posts TIkTok videos, Hook is Scottish (???), wears NO hat, and is about as menacing as his practically all-female pirate crew, Smee is gay, and Tiger Lily and her 'Indigenous People tribe' lack any respect to their culture which, BTW, the Pantages REALLY wants you to know how much they care about them. On the PLUS side: the sets and digital projections are excellent, the fight & dancing choreo is fantastic, and the costumes are very good. This is NOT a bad play/musical to take your child for their first theatrical experience as it's got bright colors, goofy characters, and great songs for them. For us old-school theater purists who have seen (or been in) the original Peter Pan, it was a huge disappointment.
