1:50-2:16 really got me. The editing of Peter walking and passing out in space combined with the music was strangely beautiful in a way, even if it was sad (the way his steps lined up with the beats was so powerful!). Why is Spider-Man my favorite superhero? He’s only a teenager and has powers that an adult couldn’t even handle and decides to use it to help others. The people who noticed him (Tony) only wanted to use him to fight each other and he was ok with it bc he just wanted to be with them. Then they shoved him to the side bc now they didn’t need him. They said he’s just a kid. But he try’s to make them see that he’s not anymore. He ignores everyone and helps anyway. Even tho he got his fancy tech taken away he still went to help. He is still was called a kid. He kept going tho. He didn’t give up. And as soon as he was getting the recognition he deserved, everything went wrong, he blipped. He came back with his whole life flipped upside down and watched his mentor die. Yes at this point he wanted to give up. But he STILL went and helped. He never stops. He still helps. He’s beaten, he’s underestimated, he’s pushed away, but he doesn’t give up and keeps going and he’s a teen. This song fits him perfectly. This is why he’s my favorite hero.

When you see Spiderman: Far from home and realise that Tony was always saving Peter from all of this. From shield manipulation, from him being involved in big fights, also encouraging him to just be kid and learn at normal pace.
