Three examples are given. One for a PI controller and two for PID controllers. One of the PID examples shows a possible problem but this can be fixed by adding a low pass filter at a high frequency just below the Nyquist frequency.
The solution are provided symbolically so one can easily assign values to generate the coefficients for the final difference equations.
