Dr. Ruckman had pastored for well over 50 years; including a church in Bay Minette, AL, Brent Baptist Church, and Bible Baptist Church in Pensacola since 1973. He also was the Founder and President of Pensacola Bible Institute which was started in September of 1965.

I finally knew I was saved because of the KJV of the BIBLE and the Preaching of Dr. Ruckman he is now found his eternal Peace that can only come through the BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST and FATHER GOD and the HOLY GHOST AMEN AMEN AMEN!!!

@@Surfinbird8916 Yes sure! It went like this, the Holy Spirit put my conscience under a heavy conviction of my sin. After I could find no rest day or night, I fell into despair. When I couldn't take it any longer, the Spirit got a hold of me and pulled me under, into something that felt like cold dark water. As I descended deeper and deeper, and the panic reached it's peak, I died. I suddenly felt nothing but cold empty nothingness. Then the Spirit told me that Christ died for my sin and it was gone. Immediately my soul came alive and became very light. I popped out of the depth like a cork. God's love filled my soul, I was back from the dead a new man, with joy springing out of my heart like living water, and tears of joy washing my face. That was salvation by baptism, but I didn't know it then, and no Christian could tell me, even though it's right there in the Bible. Because I suspect none of those born again believers really knew what it's like to get saved.

Thank you Lord for the sufferings of this life; teaching me to set my affections on the things that are above, not on the things of this earth!

That’s the problem with world now! It’s me me me. No one expresses empathy they can’t put theirselves in someone’s else’s shoes. Isn’t it amazing that in good times life speeds by. In bad times and pain times seems to slow down and creep by. Your more aware during pain and suffering.

Well...I'm not sure why this lady wrote a poem about the person I was, before Christ got ahold of me...but here it is. I went to my psychiatrist to be psychoanalyzed To find out why I killed the cat and blacked my husband’s eye. He laid me on a downy couch to see what he could find, And here’s what he dredged up, from my subconscious mind. When I was one, my mummy hid my dolly in a trunk And so it follows, naturally, that I am always drunk. When I was two, I saw my father kiss the maid one day, and that is why I suffer from kleptomania. At three I had a feeling of ambivalence towards my brothers and so it follows naturally I poisoned all my lovers. but I am happy now I have learned the lessons this has taught: Everything I do that’s wrong, is someone else’s fault!
