When it comes to child support, my ex initially thought he could dodge his responsibilities. I took it to court, and they pursued him for payment. I did have to follow up with them to keep things on track, but they ultimately got the job done! I even managed to receive a couple of his tax refunds. He’s since learned his lesson and has become consistent with his payments. Ladies, take it from someone with experience: always go through the courts for child support. It not only protects both parents but also establishes a system of checks and balances.
