What's funny is that I played it on school, or rather after school. You see, that school had something called "fritids" (basically means "free time" in English but combined into one word) that your parents could pay for you to stay on while they work and are unable to have you at home. There were two Xbox 360s and a Wii there. I played the crap out of SEGA superstars tennis on Xbox 360. I also tried Banjo-Kazooie nuts & bolts there, but I didn't understand it back then (4th and 5th grade) and I just ended up driving around and messing with the gravity staff.

QueSeja Same, I got to know lots of other great Sega games because of the All Stars Racing, listening to the music from Jet Set Radio and House of the Dead from the maps, I’m so glad I went back and played it because now I have been gifted with the knowledge of Jet Set Radio, and other really good Sega games, so yeah their strategy did indeed work

I actually love this game to death, it got me into playing games in a more competitive way, and it got me into the Jet Set Radio soundtrack, although VEERY dated now, (Like really it looks like shit) it's actually really fun, and that..Uh..Zombie level scarred me for life.

Used to play this a metric shit ton when i was younger, actually decided recently to complete the entire game. If you get past the lazy concept this game is actually pretty polished. and the soundtrack is bangin'. Honestly that's the best part of the game. Why does sega have such good soundtracks!?

I actually fully just bought this game and it’s really addicting, the only reason I bought it is because I wanted to buy as many games that featured Jet Set Radio maps and characters as I possibly could because I love it too much. The racing All Stars are actually really fun to play and although the Superstars Tennis isn’t as great as the racing I still like it, even if it can be incredibly frustrating at times. Also I love the outro it’s just beautiful, now I genuinely want a fully fledged sitcom about Sega characters, that would make a great show to watch I swear

I remember playing a big match as Shadow ad Amy in that game but I never could finish the last match, the one with Shadow (I pretended the Shadow he had was an android) and Eggman. They always seemed to be so evenly matched with me. I stopped playing when I couldn't finish the match because we were so evenly matched and nobody could win (either that or I restarted the match until I could we never happened).

The game is a tad bit better on the Wii. The motion controls were, of course, a bit annoying, but it did give a bit of a tennis charm. At least the controls aren't as bad as, say, Sonic and the Secret Rings. (And I can honestly thank SEGA Superstars Tennis for my discovery of the NiGHTS series.)

I bought this game back in 2008 because I was a 7-year-old Sonic fan who recently beat SONIC THE HEDGEHOG (2006) when I thought it was good before I realized at 13-year-old that it played like a crappier version of Sonic Adventure 1. I needed something to hold me over until Sonic Unleashed came out in November that wasn't just playing the Sonic games from the SEGA Genesis era and I got this game in April. Surprisingly, this game plays just like Virtua Tennis because it uses the same game engine. SEGA Superstars Tennis is using a modified version of the Virtua Tennis 3 game engine which was released on March 20th, 2007. So, that is how it plays similar to Virtua Tennis because it's using one of the games as a blueprint.
