I kind of grew attatched to movie Sonic when I looked at it as something else. I remember reading a Superman comic where there were a bunch of Superman's from other universes, and some of them looked nothing like what you'd associate with the character, but it was fun to imagine it from the perspective of them being bizarro reimaginings. In fact, I think people are only mad at the Sonic movie because they want the Sonic we all know and love to be on the big screen *before* we have a reimagining.

If they explain Sonic's and Eggman's existence in "our world" as a "time warp heckin confusing but it somehow makes sense" way like they did with Sonic X, keep Sonic's personality and make him look more Sonic, and make Eggman look a bit more... Eggman, this has the potential to be a decent movie. And I see a ring warp in the trailer, so that makes me hopeful that they have actually carried over some details from the games, comics, etc...

They should’ve put “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen instead of “Gangsta’s Paradise”. Not only would it have suited the trailer far better, but it would also have a wider marketing range since Bohemian Rhapsody came out several months before the sonic trailer and even won a few oscars. Also, Freddie Mercury is a musical God and nobody can argue with that logic.

I guess I am very happy you are the major person I pay attention to with sonic stuff. Actually, I am very happy, you were the major one to introduce me to sonic. I still have no sonic games, and I didn't even know there was a trailer. And if I had known about the trailer I have no idea if I would have watched it. I live my life on the internet and know basically nothing. I re-watch your videos because they put a smile on my face. But that partially means I barely add more info to the catalog that is my brain.
