Nice truck you've got, you'll like being able to slide your seat back. I run a 94 379 standard hood, 63" flat top (first yr of the unibilt and air ride sleeper) with a 3406C (mechanical) and pull a belly dump in Phoenix. Good times

Oh heck yeah that's awesome! Mine has the 3406 C as well, so far it has been a really good engine! Thanks for the comment and stay safe out there pulling that belly dump!

Curious why you would go to the trouble for a smaller sleeper. I would consider a bubble back daycab conversion and slide the fuel tanks ahead for a pusher axle so you can run 105,500 lbs unless your restrictions are different than ND. Here is a link to how I lifted the 60" flattop off my 86 superliner.

I prefer having a sleeper over a day cab mainly so I have a place for my lunch box haha! And a pusher axle wouldn’t be a bad idea but with the way I get paid here it wouldn’t be worth it. I get paid the same as the guys with 3 axle trailers and 3 axle trucks, and I’ve got a 4 axle trailer. Thanks for the comment Russ!

Its going to look nice when its done. Say if you would have left the brackets on the front of the sleeper and just got new mounts for your cab. You could have upgraded to an air ride cab also pretty easy while you are doing it. But good luck with the swap cant wait for the next vid.

Thanks for the comment! I originally wanted to do that but I heard that these non unibilt cabs aren’t built with the right bracing for that and the cab would fall apart after driving for a while. I’m not sure but I figured I rather be safe than sorry!

You should make it a unbuilt at the same time. Will ride alot smoother. Good luck. That's alot of huck's to replace.

I agree that would be nice! But from what I’ve heard my non unibilt cab would not hold up to the air ride unless I built a subframe under the cab and sleeper. I’m not sure about that but I’d rather be safe than sorry! Thanks for the comment!

Hey if you find another big hole unibuilt flat top for a decent price down there hit me up. I'd really like to put a 42 inch flat top back on my day cab.
