Peterbilt 379 Model Truck Restoration Rusty Abandoned

This time I tried to restore the forgotten, abandoned, rusty but relatively well-preserved model of the Peterbilt 379 truck. I have reconstructed or replaced damaged components.

I wish I could find things like this, I had a couple diecast trucks when I was younger and they were awesome but I used them as toys and they didn’t end up lasting very long. The first things to go were always the little mirrors.

Looks like dude took it outside & literally just threw some dirt all over it & then took it apart & put it back together. To everyone saying it looks like Optimus Prime: the Peterbilt used in the movies was actually blue. It had some red parts, such as the hood and fenders, but the dual color flames made it look like it was more red than it actually was.

Thought this might end up being another fake restoration...why do they all use the same brown clay mud to try to get us to believe a car is old? Nevertheless, this one was actually a decent effort and outcome. If it wasn’t a fully authentic restoration, it was still a good customization. Nice work.
