The 579 are really nice trucks. Been in a 2015 for two years. Peterbilt please take my advice. Wrap the sleeper in premium sound deadening material to keep roaring fans, and air noises from other trucks out. And the steering column to tilt up a bit more.

This is probably the first time this dude has ever been in a truck if he lived in one ther design would be a lot better

Right, says they have the most storage in the industry, but they have what, one full size cabinet, a few drawers and a couple cubbies.. I'm in an International LT and I have two full size cabinets with shelves, one cabinet with a hanger, 3 drawers, and two large shelves below the top bunk on either side, not to mention a large wrap around shelf over drivers seat.. I don't think I could carry that much personal stuff on that truck without having shit sitting on the bed..

Love it! And the ladder is amazing

Nice to see you have an actual microwave shelf in this updated interior.

I thought the bed was supposed to be bigger? I think freightliner has really done the best job with redesigning

I like how the project manager forgot what the fuck it was and had to look at a sticker on the storage place to remind him.

What is the largest TV you can put in one of those?
@leir20056 жыл бұрын
I believe it's 32 inches
@michaelconstantine65815 жыл бұрын

still zero access for the top occupant to see the tv. No seating option other than the seats in front. Congrats on the extra storage, switches and grab bars. Peterbilt just added a little extra height is all.

So it’s a KW T680 basically?🤔🤷🏾♂️
@whotf8886 жыл бұрын
wayne warner not exactly, the KW T680 has that fold out table.
@chocol8pooh1306 жыл бұрын
Péter Oláh 🤨 the basically doesn’t mean the exact same thing. It “basically” looks like the KW T680 sleeper area except for the fold out table and how they switched around the closet and swapped the bs refrigerator that’s in the 680💁🏾♂️

Sounds like the boss should have looked at the ultra loft. I prefer the pete exterior hands down. But 76” t680 blows that mid roof out of the water.

I will like this when you make quality again. Wood, leather, diamond tuck, and cushy padded velour or leather, a real engine that was not in shop every month. This piece of junk was made for flip flop, skirt wearing team driver. Not the independent operator, which makes 90% of the total truck market. Where are the flop holders?
@daveb81425 жыл бұрын
They need to stack the microwave,frig,and closet on one side and on the other a shower/toilet but it uses foot pump and a water bag for campers that heats up in the sun. HEY TRUCK MAKERS WAKE AND CATER TO THE TRUCKERS.

Far too much wasted space behind the driver's seat, & the overhead area still looks like a waste of space, too. Names don't cut it, Pete. Try living in them...

@BlohmandBlohmer6 жыл бұрын
$140/k for this truck and the microwave is tied down with a strap? Drivers that actually have this truck & sleeper combo add an additional ratchet strap to make sure it stays secure? (see Glen Shevel's comment above). That's a poor design not a "newbie driver" comment.
@michaelhamm53216 жыл бұрын
I was exhausted after watching 3/4 of this..maybe hire an enthusiastic "actor" next time..just a thought..
@hooflungpoo45535 жыл бұрын
Instead of wasting space with a large "storage space" that I can't reach because it's down by my ankles, how about puting in some drawers instead.

@whotf8886 жыл бұрын
Joey Benton I think that big microwave is way more, than 5lbs. Just look at the amount of space it takes, and it's 70% is probably made of metal

All junk, dealers are in trouble because they can’t sale all the EPA crap engines, smart truckers are keeping the pre emissions trucks, the new trucks are extremely unreliable, all truck manufacturers decided to build trucks to please the government not the customer, I am rebuilding my old Cummins N14 for less than $5000 after million 1/2 miles, who’s going to get that mileage out of the new engines, no body, peterbilt and the rest of the manufacturers need to build for the customer not for the EPA, you gonna have to eat all the use trucks because no one will buy them, only a few inexperience drivers will do, the others NO ThANKs.
