Great looking truck, especially since it is just white. It just gives someone a chance to add their own lil touches to it. I've been hearing some really good things about the 12 spd automated transmissions, the boss has 3 in the fleet as of now and the guys really like them. Thanks for sharing!

The so-called PACCAR engines are from DAF Trucks Eindhoven the Netherlands. DAF Trucks is owned by PACCAR and PACCAR renamed the engine. In Europe DAF is the second in the market of 16+ tons trucks.

Why are most of the newer trucks built with horizontal exhaust instead of vertical exhaust? Any advantages or disadvantages to either configuration?

Horizontal exhaust is both cheaper and lighter in weight besides the aero advantage. Not as cool looking is the downside.

I've got kind of an odd question. Can the sleeper be spec'd with the escape door on the right side as well? It's kind of an ocd thing to have a matched look. The KW T680 allows it to be spec'd that way.

Tell me, why is this engine from DAF Trucks (renamed PACCAR) not popular in the US, while it is in the rest of the world? Since many years DAF Trucks is the second best in the European market after Mercedes. After started in Brazil in 2013 the big three, Mercedes, Volvo and Scania, are in a big compete with DAF by loosing marketshare.

Whoever specked it with that paccar motor needs to be slapped upside the head with a big towing bill to get it to the proprietary only dealer network for paccar. And get an earful because they are too busy to Fix it for the next 3 days. Get a Cummings x15 next time.
