Passed my test on the 16th of December first try!!!! My instructor was very kind to me. Definitely have to recommend Peterborough over any locations in the gta, the test was extremely easy

@@Navz000 thank you! Also I can’t completely remember as I was extremely nervous lol, I think maybe the second route? And it wasn’t exactly the route either as there was a lot of snow on the roads so the instructor asked me to drive somewhere else. He really wanted me to pass! They did not ask for reverse parking but they did ask for parallel parking. I had to readjust three times for parallel parking before I did it properly. You can take as much time as you need, just don’t put the car in park until you’re completely done!

Hi! Thank you so much for this video, it's very helpful. I have a question --- at 20:00, when you are turning right at the red light, you seem to turn into the middle lane instead of the lane at the farthest right. I thought that you needed to turn into the lane closest to you and then would have to quickly signal/checkblind spot/change lanes into the centre lane since that right lane is ending soon. Everything else was great, this is the only thing that confused me.

Yeah honestly I’m not sure why they did that either. Maybe there was lots of traffic close behind them and thought nobody would let them merge since the right lane ends pretty fast ? I can’t think of another reason but you should turn into the corresponding farthest right lane and then change lanes

thank you for this video I passed!!!! For anyone wondering I just passed my test a few days ago 2nd attempt. The first time I failed was very similar to the first route in this video. The second test I did was the second route in this video!! So it’s still the same:)!! I only had to do uphill, 3 point turn and reverse park. I didn’t have to parallel park, it really depends on if there’s any parked vehicles in the neighbourhoods to parallel park with

@@princekabuli3823 No you can’t extend your G2 license. You have 5year timeline to get your G. If you do not get your G before 5year period then you go back to G1 to start all over again.

For the yield sign at 20:55, where exactly do we have to stop if there is oncoming traffic and they have right of way? Do we stop before the pedestrian walkway or can we stop on it and right in front of the yield signs?

Thanks for such a great question. Before you get to the yield sign, scan in advance to potential hazards ahead of you(Pedestrians/Vehicles). If you happen to come across any, slowly stop before the crosswalk if it pedestrians 🚶‍♀️, you may stop after the crosswalk if you yielding right of way to oncoming vehicles from other side.

Hi Thank you for all your videos.. I have my G2 scheduled at Peterborough location next week. I have a question regarding a similar intersection as in 8:22. If its a advanced green left turn and if it goes to amber when u just reached middle while turning, we have to stop in the middle or we can proceed and complete the turn?

When you see the yellow arrow, treat it as a warning ⚠️ and keep in the Centre lane to wait for oncoming traffic in case there’s one. If there’s no oncoming traffic then you may proceed when it safe to do so. NB: usually when arrow light turn amber, within 2seconds, oncoming traffic gets green light to proceed. So you cannot take chances.

Examiner failed me saying i did not yield right of way to them.. i was in speed as well but they did not listen about.. anyways thanks I will try ntake care in my nect peterborough test

Hey around 7:00, you took a left and said it was a 50 zone but wasn’t there a school zone sign right after you turned left. So wouldn’t that mean it’s a 40 zone?

Thanks for such a great question. Yes there was a school zone sign but unless otherwise a speed sign is posted 40km/h on the school zone, if you don’t see any speed limit there then your speed limit is 50km/h. On that school zone, there’s no speed limit posted there, so your speed limit remains 50km/h NB: if speed is not posted on a highway then your speed limit should be 80km/h....

At 9.05 if the lights turn red do we still execute the turn or stay put and back up a bit to wait for next green light?

When light turn red, and you are behind the white line then you need to stay and wait for another green light. However, when you are already in the centre lane, you have to proceed to clear the road quickly. Mostly when light changes to yellow/amber, all traffic begins to slow down to stop, in that case there is no point waiting to get red light before you clear the road. But sometimes you might see one stubborn driver trying to speed pass yellow light to skip red light, with this scenario you are likely to get red light at the centre lane, in that case remain in the centre lane until he/she passes and then quickly proceed to clear the road.

We supposed to pick the closing lane first and quickly switch lane to the next lane which is turning to be driving lane but there was construction 🚧 on that lane that’s why we didn’t take the first.
