Totally agree Peter. I saw this film last year at my local cinema in Perpignan. I was totally moved by this film and the performances from the child and his nanny are incredible. Has to be seen to be believed

Thank you for featuring this film, which appears to have largely passed UK critics by. Àma Gloria is an early contender for my film of the year, featuring the most remarkable performance by its six-year-old lead, first-time actor Louise Mauroy-Panzani. I can’t imagine another film coming along this year that delivers the emotional gut punch that this did for me. The performances, by a largely first-time cast, appear effortless and the relationships between Cléo and Gloria, and between Cléo and her loving father, are completely believable. The performances from the two leads feel so REAL that I have had to remind myself that the film is fiction, not a documentary, when I remember certain lines and scenes that cause me to well up again. It's a film that will both warm and break your heart. I know it broke mine. I hope it, its team, and in particular its young lead, win every award they're eligible for and that this film finds the widest possible audience.

What about “Buddha Collapsed in Shame” for an amazing child performance?

Isn't it _extremely_ questionable getting a child to cry like that for a movie.
