The high speed fan issue is the fan blower motor it needs to be replaced along with your resister. Airmatic system is a pain in the rear especially since the car is a well aged so I Changed my Airmatic system to coil overs and saved tons of money!! Your instrument cluster, radio, heat controls etc like mine were due to blown fuses located in the engine compartment so I Replaced all my fuses related to the malfunctions. Your Sam’s module located under the rear seat of the car controls your power windows, fuel pump, cd player ,overhead sunroof etc…make sure to download the owners manual diagram and you will learn everything about your vehicle! I had my 2000 s430 Mercedes Benz for over 20 years and I must say it’s worth keeping!! It’s 2024 and my almost classic is still running!! Don’t get rid of it!! Get to know this car and provide it with the proper service and you won’t be disappointed!!

Hey, I own a 2003 s430 that was dropped to the ground. I diagnosed it as the air compressor pump. Take off the passenger front tire and splash guards. The pump is located up inside that area. Start the car and you should hear the pump running. Or feel it it is. If it's not check the fuses for it first. Then if they're fine, it may be the air compressor pump. I purchased one used and installed it in 45 mins. All is good now! Edit! I just watched the whole vid. See my diagnostic doesn't apply here!

Hey my s430 makes a vibrating noise I think it’s air compressor pump sometimes my car doesn’t even wanna go up it goes all the way down saying to low what do you think it is????

@@thebasementbox does it make the vibrating noise every time? If so, try pulling the fuse for the air compressor pump. See if the noise goes away. If it doesn't that noise is coming from something else

Thank you for the video. I have a 2000 S500 w220. The battery died on me. When I was jumping it. I got some sparks. AC, cluster and the radio are no working. I find out that there are fuses box where the big black battery connects on the passenger side. I discovered one fuse that was bad. I haven't replaced yet, but I'm looking forward to it. For all of you that have similar issues, that's another point for troubleshooting. You in Tampa, it's there a junk yard to get local parts for this type of cars?

I have a S430 2002, I have no power in the front at all but the interior lights and stuff come on and I have no idea where to even begin with that this is my first one

Heads up for the audio issue, check the amplifier. It will be behind the left tail light, pull the carpet back, look down, and its at the bottom of the trunk. Water sometimes gets down there and floods the system so a new amp may need to be replaced. Did mine twice lol.

the prefacelift model has no amplifier in the trunk, the amplifier is located inside the radio. only facelift models have amplifier in the trunk

@@javiermarques834 hmm wouldnt fully say that, you could be right for certain engine size w220s but when i went to a U-Pull, there was a 2001 s500 that had the amplifier in the same spot as the facelift, interesting if its true.

@@garagenextdoor807 Now that I think about it, if the car is a prefaclift model and has the bose sound system, it does have the amplifier in the trunk along with the cd changer. if the car is a faclift model, the amplifier will always be in the trunk, whether or not it has bose system. Except in 2003 that although the car is a faclift model with the new command system, it has the same operation as a prefacelift model. In 2004 they changed the comand system again and incorporated all the components in the trunk.

The instrument cluster screen got damaged, most likely due to the sun or humidity. It can be replaced with one from eBay, or you can just replace the whole cluster

Hey Pete, im having the same problem with my 430 with the windows, when you were replacing the dcm, did you need to replace all of them?

Nope just the driver door one. My passenger side worked by driver controls rear as well.

I replaced the entire air ride suspension with coil overs that had the sensor to keep from triggering the air ride light

Right now they are listing from $12-$30k. A lot rides on mileage and if you have records.
