"my lipgloss IS poppin" is the best thing I've ever heard you say. Love your content, and never expected this reference. Thanks for the uploads, they bring me loads of joy and I did start picking up fountain pens from Amazon and Goulet pens thanks to your recommendations and really appreciate your candid takes. Cheers and thanks again buddy!

Plus, as a bonus to that Aztec legend about finding the eagle fighting a snake on a cactus, that can be found depicted in both the Mexican flag and coat of arms! Pretty cool.

The Hopi Pueblo in Arizona go on spiritual pilgrimages all over. I met an Eagle dancer Hopi who went on a run from Arizona to Mexico city. When he got there the indigenous population was doing a dance by a pyramid. The Eagle dancer Hopi asked what was going on and they said that it was a prophecy that day that an eagle would dance on top of the pyramid. So the eagle dancer went up and did a dance on top of the pyramid. It was some kind of cool culmination of prophecies between two people's who weren't in communication with each other but had a moment of serendipity.

Peter, thank you so much for sharing this first drawing in your new sketch book. I loved your story! Parts of it, how you told it made me laugh hysterically! 🤣 The fist phrase that gave me the laughs is when you said, "Virginal Monks in a 'Yam Cult', tending 10 foot yams". Oh my Lord? Is not History a riot sometimes? The other thing you said was when, "The people paid hommage\worship to the woman who had her head cut off. They would fall down and let themselves splat - I guess they were target practising?". I had to rewind to listen to those parts once more...LOL? Oh our Peter Deligdisch, you should try your hand at Toast Masters and give these speeches. They are priceless. (We love you too man!) Also, I feel you were giving me some much needed encouragement when you said, "If you fall off of the creating art wagon, no matter how long it has been, get back on it!" For me, that is exactly where I am at. In the mid 70s when I was in middle school I took art class two years in a row as my electives class. I am glad I did because my teacher was amazing and taught me so much. I did A LOT of watercolor and ceramics back then. My art seemed rather epic to me because many of my classmates would compliment me just starring at my art. My teacher told me I might consider it as my work - being an Artist. I have in some forms. But never for profit. I gave away my art projects in class as gifts. One to my father and one to my then boyfriend who actually was in the Hessian Motocycle Club in southern CA. Your encouragement made this era of time in my life come rushing back like it was yesterday. Positive vibes. AND, I have recently started to Watercolor again. So thank you Peter for that also. You are such a gift I feel Sir. I am looking forward to your next video and you sharing your house builds from your class. How very fun that will be to hear about. ♡♡♡ P.S. Yes, I missed you!! 😎

If you look into bookbinding, how to do it, for hardcover books, the first page is always going to be like that. The paper glued to the inside of the front and back cover has to have part of it glued to the first page of the text block (all the pages of the book) or it won't stay in. I suppose you could glue that whole page down instead of just part of that page being stuck together. Or you can fold the page so it lays flat. You know how some nice books have really nice designed papers inside the covers? Like maps or designs or marbled papers or something? There's a name for those pages I can't recall at the moment

Oh and....Zebra in general it's my FAVOURITE pen company as of late. There metal permanent marker that's refillable is just amazing.... there fountain pen is just perfect.... and there "regular " mechanical pencils, ballpoint and gel pens are the best bang for your buck and just love the metal feel of just about all there products! I need to get another fountain pen... long story... and I just seen they have a collapsible EDC style pen that is something I been looking for an ccd never thought to see if my favorite company Zebra had it.

I'm drawing too while listening about Mexican mythology. You actually pronounce certain ancient names such as Teonochtitlán quite well! With Coatlicue (Koh-Ah-Tlee-Koo-Eh) you still need a little bit of practice but the intention is what counts :). Probably the name you were looking for related to the god of the death is Mictlantecuhtli, he comes from the Mictlán. I'm glad you enjoyed the legends from my country. There are a lot of other fun stories such as Tláloc, the god of rain, causing a huge flood around the 1960's because they separated him from the statue of his wife (Chalchiuhtlicue) to take his image to Mexico City. However, many people think to this day that the statue that was taken to Mexico City is in fact Chalchiuhtlicue herself.

Peter I love your art so much but I definitely will never forget your spaghettio microwave justification. I did eventually learn the reason we don't (shouldn't) microwave metal is it can reflect the waves in the microwave making them act in ways we don't expect, making it potentially dangerous, but it seems the spaghettios are safe enough due to your demonstration
