I really enjoyed this round. Fun to watch and listen to. We Americans are spoiled with the carpet smooth fairways, heel high rough and lovely greens. Watching all of you play on these course in England really give me a deep appreciation for what I play on even though there are brown spots and desert for rough. Las Vegas Duffer Joel

That looked a little chilly. Loved Fryer’s drive on that first tee. You know its cold when every free moment, hands were closest to the pair you’re born with. Its warmest there anyway.

I live in southern Ontario, Canada, not far from Toronto. I've played in falling snow a couple of times, but never a course where there was that much frost or when the turf was as frozen as much as West Lancs was that day.

Hey Peter, you should look into getting a golf cart cover and a cart heater. They are fairly inexpensive and makes cold weather golf much more enjoyable! I purchased both last year and they extend the golf season a couple months. Absolutely love your vlogs! Congrats on the Adidas deal!

If you're going to go out and play in those conditions, you need to have a short awl in the bag, to poke a hole in the frozen ground on the Par 3's, so you can get a tee far enough into the ground. Make sure you have the point properly covered or it'll poke a hole in your golf bag.

From fryer’s violently ill reaction to partnering w/ Pete to Carter doing a push-up to get a tee in the ground, Pete advancing his ball 10 feet at a time and back to Rick megging himself...this “last” vlog series really has been as entertaining as it gets 😂. Really surprised they allow carts on the fairways when there is frost. Out here in California, if there is even a hint of frost, tee times are delayed, or at best, it's cart path only for the first couple of hours.

Marcus T. I have found many of the so called winter gloves seem to have Californian winters in mind. Personally I use mitts and keep a petrol hand warmer in each - but if you filmed me I'd look like no gloves as I take them off to play

John Rainey doesn't hurt when they are frozen. It hurts when they have frost on them and you walk on it.

I'm sure they didn't sneak onto the course and play without permission. Geesh man!!! Lighten up.
@jarainey17 жыл бұрын
jesse Jeffries the ice crystals damage the leaf of the plant. The grass turns yellow very quickly and can take a long time to recover. Do a Google image search and you'll see the damage it cause. Doesn't matter if it's frost or frozen.
@steverust54697 жыл бұрын
My golf club at Sleaford is a really good winter course, were very rarely off main tees and greens even when frosty. Appears to make no difference to,the greens and the very skilled experiencedand knowledgeable head greenkeeper has no issue with playing off mains even in really frosty conditions!! Perhaps,the turf we have over here is hardier and able to stand wear in the winter than the grass found in warmer climates
