I am about the same age as Peter, when i discovered his albums, i picked up my guitar a little more often and figured out all his songs by ear, he's vulnerable, tasty and if I were male, i may be his twin, he has an accessible musicality which helped me musically and emotionally, he is my most closest musical friend! Escuchaba a Peter. Mi padre solía decirnos que algún día seamos algo, vayamos a conocer el mundo y a sus artistas que nos dieron felicidad siempre. Ahora mi vida ha cambiado pero jamás mis gustos por esta música.

I would come home from school every day at 3pm, put the Frampton Comes Alive album on in the record player side of my mom's big stereo cabinet in the living room, stretch out on the floor with my head pressed up against the left speaker and listen and daydream until dinner was ready at 5. Anyone moving around in the house had to step over me and no one complained. It was a daily ritual. I'm 62 now and I long for the simplicity of my youth and the LIGHT of those amazing days. I just saw a panoramic shot in the stadium is packed oh, you'll never see these days again; take a look around nobody's being an a****** nobody's destroying anything... Just a bunch of young people in the sun having a good time. I'm glad I got to see concerts like this. I got to see the Eagles at Rutherford Stadium in New Jersey with the best rock and roll girl band Heart of all-time opening up for them... that was June of 1979

It was. Things were simpler, yet deeper as a result. More genuine. People heavily resisted war, longed for peace, were not as divided as we are now. Whatever faults the era had, because it sure was not perfect, it was more likely that people arrived at a battle after having exhausted other means, and even then fought for reasons that seemed worthy, as opposed to now when just about anyone you know is looking to make trouble over the most insignificant things. it was quite a contrast from the shallow society in which we find ourselves in now.

Absolutely blows my mind and melts my heart seeing this, and the Oakland coliseum totally full.. such a beautiful song.. and so many beautiful faces there.. my parents were there! I've been to many A's games the last 30 years at the coliseum, and have never seen it even half that full.. times were so much simpler then.. ♾️💖
